I still boot this game up once a week and play with my bro and friends. It's never not fun. Truly, this is this pinnical of Smash games. Project M will never die. It only dies is we, the community let it die and so long as people are still playing, so long as tourneys are still being held, Project M will live on.
I have deep emotional attachment to this game. My two older brothers and I grew up playing Smash Bros. We got into the competitive aspect of the game; got Melee, and played it for I kid you not, thousands of hours. Then we heard about Project M and we never got back into Melee because this game was just perfect for us. Every day after school we would spend hours playing Project M and just having fun as kids. I wish I could relieve those days because back then everything seemed so pure and genuine. We played Project M so much that our Wii wouldn't boot up and had to get another one. Late nights playing with different game modes, items, and stages; those were my great childhood days. This song in particular was Smashvile because my brother learned how to add different songs into the game. Whenever we played Smashvile, which was a lot of the times, this song would be playing. It's so iconic to me that I could never get quite used to Smashvile's real music in later Smash Bros games. My brothers and I don't play anymore together because of our busy lives but we still talk and watch about smash bros. This game quite literally forged my relationships with my amazing brothers, and for that I am forever grateful.
Hope you and your brothers are well, I have a very similar connection to this song through PM but with my close friends. we don't play PM anymore but this song reminds me of the good old days of us taking competition not so seriously and just playing to have a good time and doing dope shit with the game. Which in turn got us into melee aka competitive smash bros
Ruschinstein I'm serious this song just clams me down and takes me to another world. I literally feel like crying when I listen to this it is just amazing.
crazy how shit has changed. I honestly kind of miss those times. With each year going by and so much changing in life, it begins to feel like that time and those memories will fade
You can't go wrong with Stickerbush Symphony, an amazing OST with potential for great remixes. If you are looking for more, I'd highly recommend Rush of the Rainforest - Buoy. It's featured in Harmony of Heroes which is a gem on it's own.
This song makes me feel nostalgic/sentimental even though I just discovered it this year and it also reminds me of playing Project M with my friends at one friend's house which was really fun! But it also makes me hope I'll still see them after I graduate school.....
@@polardiamond981 sadly for me, my friend that introduced me to smash and so many other things in my life, is not longer willing to contact anyone. Seems to have moved on with different things. Now this song is just a relic of something that once was. I have so many memories that flood back to me. Haven't been able to contact him since we graduated in 2017. Wasn't the most relevant reply, but listening to this song after all those years really brings forward emotions that are hard to put into words. I miss those times a lot. I should have cherished that time and wish I had truly seen the value it was going to bring to my life. I only see that now that it is gone.
This song fills me with nostalgia. I first heard it in PM and I just associate one to the other. I wasn´t into PM until after they started having issues and just had a blast discovering how similar it was to smash 4(as I played more smash 4 with my friends), how many new things there were to do and just how fun it was to play with my friends who were into smash be it melee, 4 or PM. Good times :,)
It's been years and I still can hear it every time I play legacy xp and brawlhalla it never gets old. Makes me feel so powerful for no reason. I always drop some tears and idk why
a couple weeks ago, my region did a reunion tournament, playes from the history of our scene came to play p+ and spend time together, people i hadnt seen in 10 years and likely wont see ever again in the same room playing the game we loved this song basically encapsulates that feeling
I still remember the day I found out about a video, I scavenging the house for an sd card and looking for my shitty labtop just to play this amazing mod to show my cousin since we were wait for smash 4 it killed time and I appreciate PM for being their in that long wait period of smash
You don’t know how long it took me to find this until someone told me what it was. I looked up sticker bush symphony remix and never found it. I never played or watched project m so I never would of guessed it would be called a different name.
Memories of using the friends list message on brawl to talk to people and organize matches after school in 6-8th grade for like 4 hours a day. It's been 10 years since then and I still remember most of them. I used a site called friendcodes or something like that to find new people to play.
think about it. melee hasnt been updated in years and years and people are still playing it in tourneys because of its unique meta. project m will be the same way. as long as people still love this game, people will still play it
I never got to get into Project M, I got into Nintendo last year. But I really hate that this game had to go, I saw this mod and I instantly loved it! But I hope people still play this game.
Back after years and I still conflate Bramble Blast with Stickerbrush Symphony cuz everyone has some weird obsession with confusing the two…😓 Nonetheless, even without playing Project M I still get a nostalgic rush from jamming to this beat like when I was younger. It feels good to come back here and jam like I used to.
Blargbla The BRSTM only loops half the song (looping at roughly 2:15). In extending the original I included the start, the end and the second half of the song (looping at roughly 4:10) It's a small tweak such that not everyone spots it out but it matters to me and I felt it had to be done.
Sam Penaranda Who? Speak for yourself. There's a pretty big change. Not only with the intro, but the difference between 1:30 and 3:27 adds a lot of depth and makes a difference with the song.
Discontinued development Refusal from big tournament organisers to host PM tournaments to be on good terms with nintendo Somewhat difficult to set up Multiple unfortunate circumstances added up and most people just stopped playing, such a shame
It's not in the game by default, you need to convert the music file to brstm, then rename it to the corresponding stage code. Then, you insert that file onto the SD card you have project m on installed on a specific directory (I forgot which)
I heard this again while playing Project + Was like seeing an old friend I hadn't seen in years. Keep on playing doods.
what stage does this play on?

2019! Another year of Project M! It only dies if we let it!
this year was PM's 3rd largest tournament, this fan project has had a longer life than several AAA games!

The community is still pretty strong, friend. If you are familiar with discord, there are servers for the game
Maybe if you had to push a ball out of a box, you’d have to complete a physics obby, solve a math problem, and dodge the falling balls..
Nintendo better not take down this video
its a remix so i think its way less likely? would suck if they did tho
