- I am so grateful to call my ~very~ small space (450 square feet!) apartment home! In this video, I show you around my apartment, share a few of my favorite art pieces, and give a few tips on furniture hunting. I've posted a few links below of items I love (so many of my pieces of furniture are old..like my mom's from the 80's old), but I've done my best!

As a Boston native..$1,600 is a steal! Your apartment is beautiful! It is hard to find a quality apartment like that in the city for that low of a price. Love it!
Thank you, Cassandra! $1600 is getting more and more rare in the city!
Cool apartment. My girlfriend would love it she could watch tv while watch me make dinner at the same time
I really like that your apartment has an entry foyer. An entry foyer adds so much class to any home!
Thank you, Marietta! I completely agree!
Very nice vintage furnitures,love the paints!.Cute apart.😃
Thank you so much, Murielle!
OMG I LOVE your taste in decor!!! So many cute, fun and quirky little things all across your apartment!
Thank you, Varsha!!
oh my dayysss!!!! >>>>
My husband and I paid that same amount for a studio with a small yard in 2004 on Union Park in Boston, however it was an extra $200 for the parking space.
I adore your design sense! go Mom- gifting you that beautiful sofa! And thank you for sharing your tips and links!
Thank you so much! Moms are the best :)
It was very nice of you to open your apartment to view. Cute and good location. (I'd only like to add a tip for future videos: looking at an apartment tour video, it's best to show the room(s) a bit more than you did. A voiceover is still nice, but the visual would be better of the space, rather than the person describing it.
Omg OBSESSED with your apartment!! You have amazing taste (love Eric). Also you're so pretty, skincare routine soon please?
Skincare coming soon!!
I love your place! But turn the camera around facing the stuff you're showing.. reverse your camera so it's pointing at the stuff we are supposed to look at we have to look over you to see the stuff.. but I love your place
No offense, but I agree with Carolynek. You have a very cute apartment, but we really can't see it with you in the shot. Better footage if you jus5 point at your subject and talk about it.
Agree. You have a nice face, but I'm not here to look at you, I want to look at the apartment.
Love this, your apartment is so cute ☺️
Ah thank you, Shlane
1600.00?!!! In Boston? Lucky you !
It was quite a steal!
Soooo beautiful and simple i love it💕
Thank you, Cyntiche!
Um....did you say 'vocal point'? I do believe it's 'focal' point, something to focus on.
Love Boston, especially the North End. Best Italian restaurants in the state.
So much amazing Italian food!
Very cool
$1600 is a STEAL especially for the north end. I'm trying to look in that price range now and everything is smaller, more outdated, and more expensive that your adorable place.
Price tags keep going up unfortunately! Ugh...good luck on your hunt, Emily! I hope you find something amazing.
Would you mind doing another apartment tour where you are not in the video. Only because it’s hard to really see the space..
love your place! i also live in boston and vlog :-) just subscribed!
Amazing, thanks Laura! I'll check out your vlogs too :)
@@owatson198 aw thank u!
Nice and lovely video
I live 45 min away in Worcester and I pay 1,400 for a small two bedroom it's expensive to live anywhere in these big cities but Boston especially is expensive but that's because theirs good jobs and colleges I know lots of people who live here in Worcester but work in Boston and just take the train daily because it's cheaper then living in Boston
hello! is that appartment available?
If you see an apartment listed anywhere in Boston proper for $1600 it’s probably a scam. You could easily pay $1600+ to rent a room in a 2 or 3 bed.
You are probably right about that nowadays! I got this apartment during COVID, and I bet it now goes for about $1900.
Where do you pahk? Do utilities come included?
I don't have a car! But many people either park on the street or get monthly parking in a garage (though it's pricey, I hear!). Utilities are often not included...so many people in the north end are on the hook to pay for gas/electric, wifi, cable, etc.
Can you help me understanding the renting scene in boston
I have a friend moving there in the next month. Any suggestions?
How exciting for your friend (and maybe you as a visitor!). Each neighborhood offers different value! I love the North End, Beacon Hill, Back Bay, and South End.
