These points are always so hack. I was a teen when White Chicks came out and a 20 year old when Tropic Thunder did. I was very aware of the reactions. Even at the time, some young people thought those two films were offensive. Those people always existed. They're just being highlighted now because of social media and channels like this. Social media (and youtube to an extent) is a net negative.
