Hi Lauren. I decorate for fall on September 1, and then for Halloween on October 1 and then for Christmas on November 1. Starting on November 1, I gradually add Christmas touches in and then on Thanksgiving night it is full blown Christmas in my house. I have a tradition that the house is in full Christmas mode on Thanksgiving night, all the trees are decorated and when it gets dusk, the outside Christmas lights go on and the candles in each window is turn on, and all the trees inside are lit for pure Christmas magic and the Christmas season begins. It has been my tradition for many years. It is one of my favorite days of the year. I love Christmas, not for the commercialisms but for the joy of the season and what it means. It also seems like people are so much kinder during Christmas time and I hope I find that it happens this year too. Love your channel.

Similar except Nov 1 we decorate for Thanksgiving. I don’t like to leave that holiday out. The day after it comes down and Christmas goes up.

I do the same thing. Fall decorations go up on Sept 1st. Halloween on Oct 1st. I do decorate for Thanksgiving on Nov 1st and then Christmas on December 1st. It always puzzles me why all the stores want to skip Thanksgiving. I was in a store the other day and I went down an isle full of Halloween decorations. I went down the very next isle and it was full of Christmas decorations. What happened to Thanksgiving?
I don't do Halloween but I do fall harvest and Thanksgiving. And I love the sofas white is going to make all the colors pop
Traditional Catholics do not recognize pagan Halloween.

Fall feels so short because everyone pulls out their snowflakes by December 1st. So, I keep my fall decor til December 21 and then do a winter wonderland til spring.
The beautiful fall colors really pop against the white walls and furniture. Everything looks lovely. The reds and greens for Christmas will look so pretty against the white background too.

Lauren, you have so many beautiful things! Love the faux mums, I agree the real thing is very hard to keep looking good. The new furniture is lovely, I think the couch should be moved back a little bit, it seems a little crowded in there to me.
We do not celebrate Halloween at our house, it’s fall all the way from August til we decorate for Christmas!🎄😊

Oh dear! I apparently love work! I decorated for fall September. Then I took it all down and decorated for Halloween. Then I will redecorate for fall through Thanksgiving! (I wish I was Canadian at this point.. Thanksgiving in October?lol) My family comes to my house for Thanksgiving ... I make dressing not stuffing!!! Lol. Then the afternoon after everyone leaves....
I go to bed. I'm so 😩 exhausted. 😄 But I wake up early on Black Friday and my hubby and I go to J. Christopher's for breakfast then we go to Pike Nursery for our real Christmas tree for the living room! All-be-it I have 3 other fake trees everywhere else in our home. Look out holidays, here I come!
@Lauren Nicholson So... after a huge fiasco and a new bill that came in for shipping after I paid for shipping I think you have scammers that are tricking people so they can take our money. I hope I was the only one who fell for it. After I got the second notice that I needed to pay $100 more, I figured it out. Lesson learned here. I thought I was helping you out by paying shipping for my winnings. 🤬 I really dislike thieves! You might want to put out a warning. I noticed a lot of people got the same message and I saw a different one on other people saying the same thing with a different app for contact.

My home is decorated for Fall since Sept. then in October I add more Fall decor and no Halloween and In November I add Thanksgiving decor in. 🍂🌾 The night of Thanksgiving I take down all Fall decor and do Christmas. I decorate for what I call "fall light" the first of September, then start Halloween decor the last week in September because it literally takes us 10 days to decorate for Halloween (yes, our favorite!). Then November 1st we put away Halloween and bring on Thanksgiving for the next month. The day after Thanksgiving we put away the fall stuff and start Christmas. I can't give up any of it! One thing I am really looking forward to is what you do for artwork. On the surface I can't envision the artwork from your Victorian working for this house, but I know you will have amazing surprises for us in this house!!

I do fall at the beginning of Sept and then I add in Halloween at the beginning of Oct. I like to add spiders and mice to my pumpkins that I already have out for fall. I love these fall decorating videos! ❤️

We just decorated for Halloween yesterday after “winterizing” our outdoors. It was so cold one day here last week it faintly snowed! Not a huge surprise where I live. I decided to leave my fall garland and sign still up with my Halloween.... doesn’t super go together but made it work 😊
