I don’t like cooking in a dirty kitchen but I leave all the mess until after dinner. I don’t mind one big mess. When my kids were young there were days I felt all I did was clean the kitchen all day long and that didn’t feel good. I realized that I would rather reduce the number of times I cleaned in a day and just do 3 big ones.
I discovered that same thing! I began to only clean the kitchen twice a day ( after lunch and after dinner/dessert ). It worked MUCH BETTER FOR ME AND MY FAMILY! We always had 2 people cleaning so it never felt as overwhelming and tedious. When they were school age, it was always myself and one of my children so I could simultaneously get one-on- one time with each child. Rarely took more than 15 minutes each time.

I feel this! Mama of littles here. I’ll let things pile up a bit for a break. But I have to make sure I come back to it because sooooooetimes I’m tired and let it go 🫠
I have to clean as I go while cooking. I think doing one big cleaning is overwhelming for me.
I love that everyone can share what works best for them. And we can try new ideas if our own methods aren’t working well for us at this time of our lives. Thank you ladies. 🙂

Hi I’m from 🇬🇧 uk and our schools near us go back in September, I’ve bought I few fall decorations but still have bags of decor in my room and the loft so just getting a few ideas from my lovely utube friends x I’d have them up tomorrow but still need to collect a few things x love that the uk are slowly realising that we want fall decor as well x ♥️

Our year round school opened in July and our last child went back last week. Your energy is amazing. I think on a rainy day I would have to stay in your bed with the fireplace going . Those leaf ornaments remind me of feathers . I am in N.C.🌻

I started decorating for fall today. It was very satisfying to put away the summer decor as I am looking so forward to fall even though we only have about three months of summer here in New England. The fall here is just so beautiful with the changing of the leaves and the cooler weather. I am going to make your chicken recipe tomorrow as it looks so good. Canadian schools summer break is July and August with school starting up in September, very normal for us 😊
We are having a heat wave in England at the moment. Really looking forward to re-watching these videos when it's cooler, with a cup of tea, and having that cosy feeling. At the moment, my eye lids are sweating, lol 😆 x x
I've already started decorating. I have done the mantel, front sitting, and living room. I am hoping to get dining and kitchen done tomorrow. I'll move onto the bedrooms and bath next week, lol.
My kiddos went back to school on the 1st and 3rd of August, today is football try outs, so I catching up on all the new videos.

I roast the bell peppers on a griddle before adding the filling. That really brings out the flavor of the peppers and its so rustic tasting. I really like that muffin pan!

I make chicken soup every winter, it's my grandma's recipe,I put chicken pieces in water , carrots and celery and onion,
And add saffron to it. Then I'll boil some egg noodles to add to the soup, I can't wait to make it again!

I was trying to wait until after Labor Day because that’s when fall really begins for me but where I live the weather is getting cooler early. We just came off a 2 + month heat wave so I hope this means a really crisp fall and a cold winter. I don’t usually decorate for fall but videos like this are so enjoyable that it makes me want to! I wasn’t going to watch any fall decorates until next month but I came across this vid and I gave in! Love this and love the decor!

I have a back to school flag, a flower bucket painted like a pencil with apple and blueberry picks. A stack of books tied with jute, a small backpack and an antique school chair. I love it!! Enzo is a good style director. I think last weekend I watched your Halloween vid were you made the peppers so it was fun seeing it again with chicken. It's a sign to make them. I did make your Ratatouille. It was loved. I was told to try and make your pot pies with the leaves. Here in the UK it’s normal for kids to go back to school in September. The summer holidays start in late July and they get about 6-7 weeks off before they go back.
I’ve lived in New York my entire life and we always ended school in the middle of June and went back to school on September 7! I don’t know what’s going on around here but lately they’re making the kids go back earlier and earlier
That's short! In California, they're typically out at the end of May, latest first few days of June. Then go back mid-August. So 10 weeks off.
It’s different all over the US. I lived in MA and school starts early September. The last 2 states I’ve lived in school starts in August

Hi Lauren! I just started adding some my brown/gold hues for fall to my home. I’m early but because I have new home and I’m just excited to decorate a new season. I prefer a monochrome look so I stick to very muted colors. Def want to try out the pepper recipe. Oh btw here’s a tip. Put your stock or broth into ice cube trays, freeze and pull out cubes as needed. Works for me. I do the same with my fresh herbs.
