There are lots of opinions out there on PF...I recommend avoiding zero drop shoes if you're recovering from PF. I've seen a lot of people with PF have good success with the Hoka Bondi (4mm drop, tons of cushion and quite supportive). Also, make sure you're rolling out your calves! I've seen a lot of people find relief from just foam rolling their tight calves.
Thanks a lot. I'm from India and Hoka isn't easily available here yet. Anything in Nike, Adidas, Saucony, Asics, Brooks you'd recommend? I'm focusing on strengthening the arch. Will stretch the calves 👍
Did you mean insoles? Some companies will give two stack heights with and without the insoles. I believe almost all the other single stack height numbers out there are including the insoles.
What shoes would you say is better for road walk for a Plantar fasciitis. I have altra you show. I also have Keen WK 400 but I can’t still figure out which is better. Altra feels more natural, Keen wk400 feels little jumpy. Thanks
I know understand what to look for my needs. Thank you
thanks

Thanks! Any thumbrule to follow while recovering from plantar fasciitis? I am primarily a heel striker although I try for a midfoot strike.

Do the numbers you mentioned include the midsoles?
