That's a pretty good improvement! I'd probably do it too but I like my printer to be loud enough to scare my neighbor's dogs.
btw, is that Ratatat at 7:00?
+gordontarpley the music? It was some royalty free stuff I found in the GoPro editor I think..

.
did you also have rubbers between the printer and the table?
Good luck and friendly greetings from the Netherlands!
Rob.
+R. Rob yes I have rubber feet on printer, but they could be improved!
OK
yes, because the table also serves as a sound board
I myself have 2 DIY Prusa I3 with ArduinoM. and Ramps 1.4
(works with ups and downs)
Greetings from Rotterdam area Netherlands!

i don't know if its possible to change the stepper-driver in this - some time ago i experimented with steppers and with this also tried and used the SilenStepStick (github.com/watterott/SilentStepStick)
its amazing: with this driver my stepper was really silent - barely audible..
(but eventually then the steppers have not enough torque..)
+Stefan Krüger interesting! The probably use a different step mode but lose torque in the process..
