    That's a pretty good improvement! I'd probably do it too but I like my printer to be loud enough to scare my neighbor's dogs.
    btw, is that Ratatat at 7:00?

      +R. Rob yes I have rubber feet on printer, but they could be improved!

      yes, because the table also serves as a sound board
      I myself have 2 DIY Prusa I3 with ArduinoM. and Ramps 1.4
      (works with ups and downs)

    i don't know if its possible to change the stepper-driver in this - some time ago i experimented with steppers and with this also tried and used the SilenStepStick (github.com/watterott/SilentStepStick)
    its amazing: with this driver my stepper was really silent - barely audible..
    (but eventually then the steppers have not enough torque..)

      +Stefan Krüger interesting! The probably use a different step mode but lose torque in the process..
