In Oz we had the ‘Voice’ referendum which was voted down by an overwhelming sixty plus percent which included the Indigenous population as being divisive and rascist, Albo and the elitist indigenous were and are furious at the democratic result so in a number of states they are going to impose it by way of treaties. @ my thought as soon as I write it! The three parties together make the vomit rise in the back of my throat. Especially that freak leader of the greens.
I would disagree that I am afraid. Angry and saddened. I watched a speech by the last of the Maori Battalion, who passed away recently at the grand old age of 99 years old. His distress at the state of New Zealand was heartbreaking, he actually wept for the sacrifice of his comrades who fought for a free country, we don't have that.
It's the speaker's job to maintain order and decorum. Brownlee should've held Te Pati in contempt of chamber and suspended them immediately. He's a coward. We should start a petition demanding his resignation.
Rhodesia, S/Africa, New Zealand. Three maginficant forward developing Societies doomed to the pages of history for the same reasons. All three had no indigenous peoples (well NZ did but that's another story) yet these legally acquired lands have been handed to peoples who claim indigenous status. Why?
There were people here long before Maoris. Let's go and excavate those stones in the forest and find out shall we? What's that? "Sacred place" you say? Oh well, I guess we'll never know
Hi Mate I just found your channel, and what fabulous information you’ve provided us with. Funny how it takes an Xpat Brit to be brave enough, to challenge what’s happening to my homeland. I hope I’ve got that right, I believe I hear a hint of an accent? I left for my OE back in 78, and have made Canada my home since early 79. You’re right, most kiwis are too scared to speak up and defend their country. I agree, I see nothing good happening in New Zealand’s present state. New Zealand is so easy to transform from outside influences, it’s small population leaves it a sitting duck from Globalist’s. I’m sad because like other commonwealth nations, our fathers and grandfathers fought and died for our freedoms. Be safe and keep up the good work.👍 🇳🇿🇨🇦
My brother in law is Maori and a he is an awesome guy. He said he is sick of the radicals making them all into a victim class. We are all New Zealanders, and the only way forward is all to gether working to make NZ the best place to live OR Apartheid. I know which one I choose.
my Irish/ scottish family came here in 1843,so im just as entitled as any Maori to this country.Labour govt has let this all happen, especially Ardern, she's wrecked our country.
My Dear Lee, 🌸🧚♀🌺 It's lovely to see you my friend. I agree with everything you have said. I can't see Luxon getting in again as he has no balls at all. If the 3 parties STOOD together and put a STOP to the division and had a referendum the country can move on and look at a better future for everyone and ALL cultures. Thank you Lee. Take care. Sending love 🧡 gratitude 💫and peace ☮ to you and your family..
Just to put it into perspective...The population of NZ is just over 5 million and 16% claim to be Maori...and only 3% of the 16% support this radical racist separatist group named Te Pati Maori. I feel if we had a referendum it would result in showing the government quite clearly the vast majority of New Zealand people oppose this Maori radical, racist and separatism group of having a voice in our Parliament.
1. It's the Outliers causing the trouble for Maori. 2. Outliers do not speak for Maori 3. It's NEW ZEALAND. 4. Outliers are racist, disrespectful, aggressive, violent, abusive....totally unacceptable in this country.
So what you've just done was come in on an angle, just to set the tone for what's really on your plate. FYI tangata whenua maori have been dealing with the pakeha double standard way of thinking since the time of Cook, which wasn't really a great start for Pakeha! But what you need to know is the true reason why Seymore wants this bill to pass, its because he's been pressured to by his finacial backers Atlas Group that's why. However, Tangata Whenua supporters are called Tangata Tiriti and Tau Iwi, they are described as the others representatives of the Crown once they have become New Zealand Citerzens, they too will be marching for their rights alongside Tangata Whenua as well. Te Tiriti as it stands allows them equal rights to live exactly like Tangata Whenua Maori or Pakeha as Kiwi's. The only people that are outraged about that idea are pakeha and pehaps a few maori that are too lazy to read and comprehend the 3 P's: of the TOW, Partnership, Participation and Protection of Tinorangatiratanga (maori authority). Seymores principals excludes the tinorangatiratanga of the tangata whenua.
Two wrongs do not make a right. Some of the actions of colonists may have been wrong and effectively racist but you can't fix that by creating a race-based system today. There is no such thing as "positive" discrimination based on race because for every winner, you also create losers. Those who seek to move forward whilst only looking over their shoulder at the past will inevitably trip and fall. Bottom line: Every NZer is born with nothing but opportunity. All NZers have pretty much the same opportunities available to them and it's entirely up to them whether they choose to take advantage of those opportunities or whether they prefer to play "victim" and rely on others to support them. We have very successful Maori. We also have very successful non-Maori. That would clearly show that *anyone* can succeed and do well for themselves (regardless of race) so long as they put in the effort. Sadly, there are some "elite" who have made an industry out of exploiting their people by convincing them that they are owed everything and need do nothing for themselves. This hugely disadvantages those people and enriches the elite. When I came to NZ from Australia in the 1970s I was blown away by the unity of the Kiwi culture. Everyone was just a good old Kiwi and there was no discernable discrimination on the basis of race. The first job I had here was working for a Maori boss and he was great -- a fine example of how race was not an issue. Sadly, because of all the gravy trains and money to be made by the elite few, that unified Kiwi culture has been lost and now there is a divisive "them and us" void between Maori and non-Maori. Such a tragedy, such a loss for all Kiwis.
The problem NZ First sees with the Principles Bill is that there are No principles in the Treaty, only 3 simple articles. These articles are easily understood and applied accordingly . The first set of principles appeared in legislation in mid 70s by shrewd politicians looking for political gain and trade offs. Once you admit to.principles they open the door for manipulation and reinterpretation now and in the future for the same reasons as above. This is the reason why the msm are not giving NZFirst position any publicity or offering it as an alternative option.NZ First cannot support a falsehood but their non support is for entirely different reasons than National. NZ first are not compromised or influenced by agendas.Their honest stance is the backbone of good governance. We want you to express this option when talking about the principles bill if you are really seeking the truth.
The people you’re saying hate non Maori are mostly non Maori themselves and don’t seem to realise that if it wasn’t for non Maori they wouldn’t exist. A child in play school could understand that.🤔
I am afraid to say it, but NZ is doomed. I will never return to those shores as long as apartheid presides. You and your whanau will be apologising and paying reparations for generations to come. I will not encourage anyone to move there. People are leaving in droves because the government is weak and they are not tough on crime. And most of the criminality stems from the Māoris. Their haka is more likened to a 2 year old having a tantrum. There is no hope. Leave now if you can.
If a platoon of soldiers marched into parliament and rattled off a parade ground favourite . . . . . . over and over again, would it be offensive, time wasting, glorious, threatening or attention seeking? I'd call it irrelevant to the proceedings and at the wrong venue. The speaker calls nothing at all? MUST we simply follow the world down this same drain? 99 and change hands comes around again . . . 🥴
Im a white kiwi 65 an im not living in fear at all ,always have had Maori mates as much if not more, than white, , no worries mate were all living the same ole sheet everyday 😉🤟
At this point I would be happy with dividing NZ up into separate nations. The NZ we all remember will never come back. The demographics have changed permanently. Time to all go out separate ways.
There is something not right with you, civil war?aye!we've been there before,Elite Maori or educated Maori, people moving here from other countries have always been welcome but don't think you know or assume new Zealanders if you don't understand our whole history because you've assumed it all wrong like a lot half Pai pakeha,Think about why would anyone in their right mind sign their country away?mate...
they did, there were the french there, they were killing themselves and wanted protection, their people was dying of disease! OF COURSE THERES A REASON THERE MATE DONT BE BLIND
RUclips keeps deleting this comment, these are the original translations of the treaty and sir Apirana Ngata's take on it plus abit of its history but anyway enjoy reading Here is the english translation and sir Apirana Ngata's take on it The text of Te Tiriti o Waitangi / the Treaty of Waitangi The Treaty of Waitangi as signed in 1840 was an agreement between the British Crown and over 500 Maori chiefs. The terms of the Treaty are contained in three simple articles, which Sir Apirana Ngata, a prominent lawyer, and politician for 30 years, stated in his iconic booklet published in 1922 “The Treaty of Waitangi”: “The first article states, The Chiefs assembled including Chiefs not present at the assembly hereby cede absolutely to the Queen of England for ever the government of all of their land. The second article states, The Queen of England confirms and guarantees to the Chiefs and Tribes and to all the people of New Zealand the full possession of their lands, their homes and all their possessions… The third article states, Her Majesty the Queen of England extends to the Natives of New Zealand Her Royal Protection, and imparts to them all the rights and privileges of British subjects.” The Treaty of Waitangi was drafted in English by James Busby, the first British Resident of New Zealand, under the instructions of Captain William Hobson, who had been tasked by Lord Normanby, (Britain’s secretary of state for the colonies), to gain freely given Maori recognition of British sovereignty over New Zealand. The final English draft was translated into Maori by missionary Henry Williams and his son Edward, who were fluent te reo speakers, having lived amongst the tribes for 17 years. Henry then had a crucial role in explaining it to the chiefs who met Captain Hobson at Waitangi on 5 February. The terms of the Treaty are contained in three simple articles. The texts herein are James Busby’s February 4 text and Te Tiriti, the Maori language text. Te Tiriti was the only version present on the 6 February 1840, and was the text signed by the vast majority of chiefs around the country. The Maori language text is virtually identical in all respects to the James Busby final draft, except for the date, and the insertion of the word ‘maori’ in Article third. Busby February 4, 1840, draft (commonly known as the Littlewood Treaty) Article first The chiefs of the Confederation of the United Tribes and the other chiefs who have not joined the confederation, cede to the Queen of England for ever the entire Sovreignty [sic] of their country. Article second The Queen of England confirms and guarantees to the chiefs and the tribes and to all the people of New Zealand, the possession of their lands, dwellings and all their property. But the chiefs of the Confederation of United Tribes and the other chiefs grant to the Queen, the exclusive rights of purchasing such lands as the proprietors thereof may be disposed to sell at such prices as may be agreed upon between them and the person appointed by the Queen to purchase from them. Article third In return for the cession of their Sovreignty [sic] to the Queen, the people of New Zealand shall be protected by the Queen of England and the rights and privileges of British subjects will be granted to them. Signed, William Hobson Consul and Lieut. Governor. Now we the chiefs of the Confederation of United Tribes of New Zealand assembled at Waitangi, and we the other tribes of New Zealand, having understood the meaning of these articles, accept them and agree to them all. In witness whereof our names or marks are affixed. Done at Waitangi on the 4th of February, 1840. This is the maori translation Ko te tuarua Ko te Kuini o Ingarani ka wakarite ka wakaae ki nga Rangitira ki nga hapu - ki nga tangata katoa o Nu Tirani te tino rangatiratanga o o ratou wenua o ratou kainga me o ratou taonga katoa. I agree. The hatred in these Te Pati ones is palpable. Yet they've got their treaty settlement money. They've chosen to trust a few with it so it's all locked up in corporations and the ordinary people are no better off. Anyhow that's their choice. They've trained their young to completely lie about who they are = they forget Waitaha and the first nation people of New Zealand completely. Their choice and nothing to do with us. They say they protect their culture but they ignore acknowledging who their ancestors are from whom they got culture. As a result of lies and bullshit they are miserable and have been taught it's all our fault. It's not. They could take a good look at their 'leaders' and see their flash cars and fancy houses. They could remember that Te Pati ones are all on almost TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS EACH YEAR. Just for disrupting parliament and telling lies while Clarke's film producer faterh [from Taniwha media] films it all and sends it overseas to get the misinformed to support them. It's a clever strategy and it's working for them but it doesn't make it true. I hope David Seymour gets his bill passed through but I doubt it.
Another great video i wish i could leave nz im 20% maori rest is English iv been called a racist because my views on everyone should be as one nzdrs not separate im over had enough of shit hole nz
From listening to what these radical politicians say, the Maori party rhetoric comes across as offensive and divisive . The extreme position taken ,sounds very much like they have a desire for an apartheid state that demands “permanent” governing rights for themselves at the expense of everyone else ,other than themselves. For the average citizen looking on, it has the odour of racism based on ancestral grievance. It appears that constant reparations and apologies will never be enough for those who believe all their failings in life can be blamed on their non Maori neighbours.
100% Rob, NZ people need to get away from the Labour or National voting mindset , some have but most don't have the courage or Brains , Luxon has an inner desire to be part of the wef team of "elites" and even said it out loud but no one joined the dots.
I have maori english decent and 64. Live in New Zealand. Myself my family and a lot of maori do not support the maori gravy train industry. What this has done, it has revealed to us of how corrupt the victim industry has become. New Zealanders want the rot to stop, and the time is now, because it's on the minds of every kiwi and politician. David Seymour is tackling the Treaty through his Bill and New Zealand First are doing it internally, so it's been tackled on many fronts. Te Pati Maori the extreme racist political party want one thing, maori sovereignty, and it aint gonna happen. There is not a civilisation in the world that has ever had harmony with a race based government. It's time now to clean the rot, all the woke bullshit and the maori victim industry needs to go, it's holding back the country and it's causing huge social anxiety. I think a lot about leaving New Zealand, and going to a non western country, now that Trump is in, thank god, let's see where we go from here.
I am sorry, it makes me sad when those who don't know the true history give views on maori issues and have no idea , yes there are scumbag maori, but their are good maori that want to preserve their unique history, but also support non maori, maori shuold respect the nz parliament protocols, but I want to make it clear, I am not a new zealander, I am uri whenua, my ancestors signed the maori text of the treaty, the English text was never solicited, like king Charles I am a direct descendant of signatories to the treaty, we never ceded sovereignty, on the east coast we outnumbered pakeha 1000 to 1 in 1840, fact, which explains why the English treaty version which ceded sovereignty was withheld on the east coast, king Charles is not my king, my land comes from my own kings and queens before the word new zealand was invented, I am a natural hereditary sovereign and my native title to my land I inherited does not belong to new zealanders. Again it is sad to see such ignorance on both sides, to move forward new zealanders need to learn the truth about how the crown nz was established, and how the sovereign aborignals denied of their inalienable births rights even today, the crown -settler parliament denies the history of my poeple, forces my tribe under a scumbag iwi and blocks me from litigation before any court in nz in fear the true history will be exposed. I employ maori, pakeha & migrants, I am a giving person and kind to all, but I refuse to be a new zealand citizen because I know my cultural identity belongs exclusively to me as a native, I wish you luck and hope you do your own research on the east coast, in particular in 1865 when the crown used my own people with its militia to wipe us out and create a scumbag iwi loyal to the crown. Everyone only sees maori grievance without understanding the full history, it goes way deep to the burning alive our woman and children, rape, starvation, executions of my ancestors once captured, exile to the Chatham islands without a right to trial and theft of land and resources, my tribe has always been peaceful in protest since 1865, we wuold never repeat what was done to us onto anyone, may God bless you.
If you really believe any of what your saying, then drop your phone in the bin, sell your house, go bush and never come out. You can not condemn what you are a partaker of. The dollar wasn't invented by Maori but we sure got good at spending it. I'm Maori, but I don't pretend that I didn't take advantage of all the white man's magic, JUST LIKE YOU.
I dont live in fear in New Zealand, theres nothing scary here. It is boring though.... very boring. Awful weather too. I wouldn't recommend anyone come here to live or to holiday.... and to any of the younger NZ residents I recommend you move to Australia as soon as you can and if u can - try to get over to the US or to Europe.
Why?
I dont think New Zealand did have indigenous people there is no way the Moa would have survived long enough for the Maori to wipe them out otherwise.

Be safe and keep up the good work.👍

Just to put it into perspective...The population of NZ is just over 5 million and 16% claim to be Maori...and only 3% of the 16% support this radical racist separatist group named Te Pati Maori. I feel if we had a referendum it would result in showing the government quite clearly the vast majority of New Zealand people oppose this Maori radical, racist and separatism group of having a voice in our Parliament.
1. It's the Outliers causing the trouble for Maori.
2. Outliers do not speak for Maori

Seymores principals excludes the tinorangatiratanga of the tangata whenua.
never heard of that but it sounds logical.....where there is smoke may be fire?
Semantics.
Have you read just ONE Treaty settlement? Unless you have, you are speaking from a point of ignorance - whether you are well-intentioned or not.
I think you are 💯 right. The people need to wake up from whatever dream world they're living in and get with the program, dammit 🤬🤛
I am not in fear…i wld think some/most are just pissed off
Two wrongs do not make a right.
Very interesting. Can I share what you have written here?
Thats not what the prime minister of New Zealand said.

RUclips keeps deleting this comment, these are the original translations of the treaty and sir Apirana Ngata's take on it plus abit of its history but anyway enjoy reading
Here is the english translation and sir Apirana Ngata's take on it
The text of Te Tiriti o Waitangi / the Treaty of Waitangi
The Treaty of Waitangi as signed in 1840 was an agreement between the British Crown and over 500 Maori chiefs. The terms of the Treaty are contained in three simple articles, which Sir Apirana Ngata, a prominent lawyer, and politician for 30 years, stated in his iconic booklet published in 1922 “The Treaty of Waitangi”:
“The first article states, The Chiefs assembled including Chiefs not present at the assembly hereby cede absolutely to the Queen of England for ever the government of all of their land.
The second article states, The Queen of England confirms and guarantees to the Chiefs and Tribes and to all the people of New Zealand the full possession of their lands, their homes and all their possessions…
The third article states, Her Majesty the Queen of England extends to the Natives of New Zealand Her Royal Protection, and imparts to them all the rights and privileges of British subjects.”
The Treaty of Waitangi was drafted in English by James Busby, the first British Resident of New Zealand, under the instructions of Captain William Hobson, who had been tasked by Lord Normanby, (Britain’s secretary of state for the colonies), to gain freely given Maori recognition of British sovereignty over New Zealand.
Busby February 4, 1840, draft (commonly known as the Littlewood Treaty)
Article first
The chiefs of the Confederation of the United Tribes and the other chiefs who have not joined the confederation, cede to the Queen of England for ever the entire Sovreignty [sic] of their country.
Article second
The Queen of England confirms and guarantees to the chiefs and the tribes and to all the people of New Zealand, the possession of their lands, dwellings and all their property. But the chiefs of the Confederation of United Tribes and the other chiefs grant to the Queen, the exclusive rights of purchasing such lands as the proprietors thereof may be disposed to sell at such prices as may be agreed upon between them and the person appointed by the Queen to purchase from them.
Article third
In return for the cession of their Sovreignty [sic] to the Queen, the people of New Zealand shall be protected by the Queen of England and the rights and privileges of British subjects will be granted to them.
