🙏🏽 Namaste Bo and mummy Huge thanks 🙏🏽 from Colin son for last weeks tofu recipe, was so enjoyed and take out home. You me cannot ask for more co❤❤ Colin 🏴🇮🇳
Hey Bumbi, so glad to hear your soothing voice. Your recipe as usual is amazing . Nice to have your videos back on the channel. Have a wonderful weekend my friend 🌺
Thank you. I try to cook tofu at least once a week to help cut down on meat intake (for my good and the planet's!) so I'm always glad to find new ideas for using it. This recipe definitely looks like a real winner, so I'll try it when my vegan granddaughter next comes to visit. I definitely agree with you that it's best to fry the tofu cubes only until they're a light golden colour.
If I want to make a large batch, would roasting the tofu on a sheet pan be a good idea? In that case would I mix the turmeric and chili powder into the oil and then toss the oil onto the tofu? Or would the spices burn in the oven? (And then do the rest of the recipe on the stove top.)
Yeeeesss, you're finally back! 😍I love the way you cook and thank you for sharing this recipe! 🤗🤗 I was just thinking last week that it would be nice to have some recipe using the curry powder I made from your recipe. 😊 Thanks, I will definitely try it! 😊
Looks amazing Bumbi bet it tastes amazing too.. Take care . I'm sure this curry as well as being delicious will improve help you make a speedy recovery x
thank you for that wonderful recipe! I made it with paneer and some leftover veggies (cauliflower and carrots) but apart from that I strictly followed the recipe and it turned out yummy. I will definitely make it again
Hi Bumbi, thank you for sharing. Your step-by-step method has make Indian cooking so much more easier to follow. I particularly like the Briyani Chicken, since I have lived away from Singapore, and miss having it. May I ask, coconut milk turns easily, is there a way to store to last longer?
I sometimes freeze it. Freezing it does lead it to separate from cream though but after thawing I put in my blender and give a blitz and it emulsifies nicely again
Hi, Bumbi....lovely to see you back & listen to your soothing voice. I will definately try this Tofu curry at the weekend, with being a vegetarian I love Tofu lots of protein. Thanks again Bumbi.....have a great weekend. Xxxx
I made this curry today. (recipe 146) It was absolutely delicious. Such a perfect combination. We really loved it. We had your wonderful Peas Pulao and some naan bread with it. Another amazing meal. Thank you my dear friend. I hope you have a nice weekend. Take care 🙏🤗
Thank you Bumbi for this beautiful recipe (Tofu & veg) my favourite 🤩 I’m so glad your feeling a bit better, please take great care, your friend from the UK Worthing
I hadn't realized you were unwell as I've been out of action myself. I have been making your curries and freezing so I'd have delicious ready meals till I am back on my feet. My grandson asked 'who is Bumbi?' as my meals are labeled Bumbi's + curry name. Glad to hear you are well. Todays curry looks delicious. Thank you for sharing.
Bumbi. ✨Its so good to hear your dear voice again. Glad to see you are doing well 🙏🏼. This recipe looks so inviting 😍 I will take it into my collection. My husband will also love it 😊
Hi, your videos are fantastic, but can you please state how many people this will serve, because we can then adjust the quantity. Thank you. Another fan
I am so glad you are better! You are definitely a bright spot in the week 😊 This looks good enough to eat as a bowl of stew :) I have often wondered about using a roux to thicken the curries when I have added to much water so what you said about the Besan makes perfect sense. You are a natural born teacher! Have a great weekend 💕💕💕
Great recipe! Your recipes can either be vegan or carnivore. I chose the carnivore which I won't add any vegetables and neither tofu. Once again love your recipes
I made this and it was awesome. I think you could also make extra of the gravy and set some aside for the next night’s dinner. The next night, change it up and add different vegetables, and it’s like a whole different meal.
@@CurriesWithBumbiI absolutely love your videos and I know you're more talented than I am, but I work in a restaurant and we find that a nutribullet can make garlic into a liquidy paste rather than blitzing it. We use a warrior (any larger blender with twin blades) and find it maintains shape better without mushing it and makes it less sharp when you cook it
Looks delicious Bumbi 😋I am certainly looking forward to trying this recipe. We love all your tofu curries that I have tried. Thank you for another wonderful recipe 💕
@@CurriesWithBumbi that makes me so happy, so am I 😀 Bumbi I love your recipes, expertise and soothing way of explaining. I'll try this recipe this week. Keep up the great work, lots of love from London xx

If you add oil it won’t burn. You can certainly roast them

It is Tramontina 5 quart ceramic pan that I bought from Costco
I always enjoy watching your videos! Can you tell me what blender you use for small amounts of ginger or garlic?
Nutribullet
