I wrapped a p71 out of PA around a telephone pole. My truck pulled it out of the bank I was in. And it drove. Drove perfectly fine actually. Hardly out of alignment and with a complete S curve in the B pillar. Ford used to manufacture great cars. Not the politically driven ball-less GARBAGE now.

It's really fast, but very far from stock, of course. 351W F4TE roller block from E250, ported heads, good Weiand dual-plane intake, AVS2 carb, HEI ignition, HV oil pump and water pump, full-aluminum huge radiator with 2 fans, and heavy modified AOD with 4R70W gears in it. And 3.73 rear end instead of 2.73 stock one. When I buy it, it rotten as fuck, I can literally brake with my shoes, but the frame is nice, so some MIG welding and all OK.
