What an amazing video brother James!!! You put out so much info in this video it's gonna help a lot of "wanna-be" comp cooks!!! Very excited to see this one brother!!! Chicken looked excellent and, I agree, the larger black pepper specks are a keeper IMO!!!! Cheers brother!!!!
Hey James always love watching your videos packed with bbq tips and comp knowledge and also just a good ole time keep em coming compa wish you much success in the future competitions!!
Good luck in Montana James. If not for a family gathering we would have driven down from Vancouver to say 'howdy' You will do great! Looking forward to the Bozeman video when you post it. And yes it is great to see your cooking vids back.
Awesome video James, I have a good feeling you are going to be successful in Montana!!! Nice to see a cooking video, although I do enjoy watching your comp videos alot, they look like alot of fun whether you win or not! Support from yankee New Hampshire! 😆
Great video. If you just pull up on the tendon with your knife it will release from the knuckle and just pull out. Those look fantastic. Good luck in Montana.
@@CentralTexasGrilling I was skeptical when you didn't cover the chicken for the butter bath. But now I'm thinking I need to try your method a few times. It might help with less blowouts.
@@t-squaredbbq That's why I didn't cover them, I was definitely worried about them blowing out. I also think it helps that they don't have as much fat under the skin like other parts of the chicken so you can get away with not doing it. Just my thinking though.
Great video
Nice to see another cooking video James! Nice work bro! Good luck in your next comp.

You know, I noticed that when I got to like the 3rd or 4th leg. That tendon pulled right out and make it so much easier.
