- I rode the new 2015 Santa Cruz Nomad freeride bike! You are allowed to test out different mountain bikes during Crankworx, this bike was great!
I was able to do 2 runs at the Whistler Bike Park with this 2015 Santa Cruz Nomad, I hit up dirt merchant, a-line, ninja cougar.
The Bike felt nice, it was a good bike for me, it is more of a freeride bike so that’s why I like it more. I tend to like freeride mtn bikes more than DH bikes because they are better at jumping.

Whistler may be feasable with friends if you live in Van or better closer but if thats not the case it simply changes the type of rides you do. Oh well, I look at it as saving me money because "big bikes" everything is expensive-its almost a rich mans sport.
Damn tho it sure looks fun but then he has obviously done these runs multiple times and theres no way I could ever afford that.

It's insane how much one of them bikes cost. You could get a nice dirt bike, gear, maintenance and pay fuel for over a year for the cost of one of them but none the less it looks like a lot of fun if you live by a mountain!

Nice bike and video by the way. I have a question for you, are u using coil spring or air on your rear shock? I've been wanting to take my nomad C to do downhill not sure if air rear shock can throw off me when it comes to big drops just like your doing. Thnks

Cool video! Any tips on getting chest mount footage to be stable like this? My chest mount footage is always so shaky it is almost unwatchable. I have the camera flipped upside down and the angle is perfect but so shaky. Do you just make the chest mount straps around your body super tight? Any other tricks?

It would be fun to take some laps on the Nomad up there! I bet you get a lot more pop on A-Line. would be hard to leave the v10 at home though!
