Wow, this is cool. Im 62 and my dad collected stamps since he was a child. I'm sure he had many stps that were worth something. Unfortunately it was stolen from the house during his funeral, along with many ither things.
I enjoyed your video. This is why you need a certificate for the most expensive stamps. Otherwise, as you mentioned, many flaws can exist on the stamp. Thank you.
Hey, I found you. I think RUclips is going to be great for your content. Now I can watch you on my TV while I work at home in addition to my phone when I'm on the go.
@@LevenParker I haven't done any Philatelic content on RUclips. I mostly made videos of random things, but haven't made any in a few years. I collect Dakota Territory items. Is Ken Stach who you're referring to?
@dakotatreasurehunter I like all kind of collectible content. I don't limit myself to philately. lol his reputation must be legendary. That is who I was talking about. He is a mentor of mine and I am always looking for material for him. Do you know him well?
@@mirelalevacic7671 gum is the adhesive that gets sticky when it is licked. No gum means not canceled but without adhesive. Hinges are small pieces of glassine used to mount stamps in an album. They disturb the water activated gum when they are applied and decrease the value. Not hinged means undisturbed gum usually. Hope this helps
Man , stunning explanation . . .
@marcelosaad251 thanks Marcelo!
