Great video! I really enjoyed watching your video because it is very helpful to me. Congratulations on your academics and your extracurriculars. You did an amazing job! I used to be good with math and science back in high school. For right now, I am good with reading and history. Also, I am pretty good with writing. I am working on my second book which is called my life throughout with autism and being a military child. I’ve been working on my two books within 2 years. I have started working on my first book at age 22 during the pandemic in the year of 2020. In the summer of 2021; I redid it again at age 23. It means that I’ve writing my own book within 2.5 years. It will be 3 years in May. My two books might have the same content but different chapters. Will be earning my AA degree in Liberal Arts this semester. I’ve been studying at a 2-year college within 7 years. I grew up with my Spanish speaking family who are from Colombia and Puerto Rico. Acting and journalism are my dream career. My dream career is to be an actor and journalist. Acting and journalism are part of who I am. Including writing my own book. After I complete with my AA degree in Liberal Arts, I will train for acting in the studio. Then, I will be working on my BA degree in Broadcast Journalism. I graduated from high school in the year of 2016. I was a top 10% of my graduation class. I had a 3.7 as my overall grade point average from high school. I was born in the city of Buffalo in New York. I lived there in my early childhood until age 5 because I had to travel all over the states due to my dad’s job in the military service. I have been to 6 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 4 high schools, and 3 community colleges. I had to switch schools because my dad stationed everywhere in the states. He is technically my stepdad, but I always call him dad because he is the man who raised me as a child. I have a younger brother in my mom’s side. I have four younger sisters and one baby brother in my bio dad’s side. My bio parents are from Puerto Rico, and my stepdad is from Colombia. My college grade point average is a 3.1 as my overall. I was in the Dean’s List three times from a 2-year college. During my first time attended to college, I was studying management of working on my technical diploma. When I moved to another state, I have switched from management as my technical diploma to liberal arts as working on my AA degree. I have been working on my AA degree within 6 years. I took theatre and journalism courses at a 2-year college, it was not too long ago. Back in my senior year of high school, I was going to study computer specialists as working on my AS degree. Due to my lower scores on reading and writing as placement tests, I had switched my major from computer specialists as working on my AS degree to management as my working on my technical diploma at a 2-year college. Again, you did a great job on your academics and extracurriculars. It is very impressive. During my high school extracurriculars, I was a member of Spanish club and National Honor Society. Also, I was a member of Boys and Girls within 3 years. It was 3 semesters for middle school, and 1 semester for high school. I was in Boys and Girls Club during the summer within 2 years. I had to quit Spanish club in high school because I had to move again during 10th grade. Then, I completed Spanish 1 as my foreign language for receiving half credit for my semester of 10th grade. Then, I practiced my Spanish at home on my own. When I started to get better with sentences, I started to speak more Spanish fluently. I learned Spanish and English at the same time at a young age, but I started to speak more Spanish at age 16. Then, I started to speak it fluently at age 18. Also, I will be doing internship for journalism at a 4-year college. My name is Andres by the way. It is pleasure to meet you! Your video is very helpful to me. If you want to know which states I lived in before, my first book will be ready for you to get published after I post my college ceremony on my first book. Then, I will announce it to post on RUclips of where to get it. It will be in Amazon on posting my first book. And in other stores where it cost cheaper. Best of luck in college wherever you go! Again, you are an excellent standing in high school. Including with your extracurriculars. God bless you and your family! 🙏

I do have a good amount of extracurriculars, but I’m afraid I ruined my chances of attending a selective school. My highschool is extremely competitive. So competitive that the school had to limit the amount of AP and Honors classes that we were allowed to take. My parents are saying that I don’t have a chance anymore. Is it true?
