i love the honesty and humbleness here - admitting that certain things in your app that sound crazy impressive but aren’t. overall you were always a competitive application so im not surprised you got in. good luck for the future and thanks for sharing your tips on this video!
I think bro it's not luck but your hardwork and action Oriented nature to work and actually take action rather than thinking about ideas and it just inspires me to try harder and get into MIT
How did you make so much time for extracurriculars, do well in them, and maintain a high gpa. I barely have a 3.9 in freshman year, I’m only in soccer, asb, robotics and an internship, please help.
@@noteventrying27 thanks, but right now I just don’t see myself being able to get an acceptance from a top college because places like MIT have many applicants with important awards and I don’t know if I can keep up with them in the long run, but I also want to create a spike while keeping my extracurriculars and grades at an amazing level. I go to a private school and I’m ranked 1/83 but there’s a lot of competition and I’m getting scared that I won’t be able to get a chance against any award winners or students with better opportunities
@@GoatEditz149i am in my freshman year now I did a research project with an international team on education. And possibility it will help the world. I don't think gpa matters that much in freshman year
@@darkjoker361 how did you get these opportunities? I’m planning to do a research project next year but I don’t know how I can find a good research team
How did you manage to maintain 4.0 UW gpa (or all As) and pursue these activities alongside. In my case, I would sit until midnight everyday just working on my school work and projects.
This guy is probably very remarkable, and what I'm about to say should not take away from anything he did. Getting into MIT is tough, and he clearly is a very bright student. However, many other students who attend these prestigious institutions pay egregious amounts of money on research programs that guarantee you publication in high journals. It looks like that is partially what this guy did, as he mentions paying for help conducting research. IEEE and most student journal are notorious for being linked to these programs. My cousin did the same thing last year as a sophomore and also got it published in IEEE, which is a remarkable journal. If I had to guess, the content creator took the most premium option at Inspirit AI for his IEEE publication. I don't even know if that option is available on the website, I'm pretty sure you have to ask for it specially during a consolation (at least from what my cousin told me). The simple fact that this guy thinks that his research isn't the cream of the crop shows you that he doesn't really know what an honor it is to be published in the journal, probably meaning that he paid for it. Also, a lot of these nonprofits are fake. They employ fake numbers and develop well designed web pages to decieve admissions officers. I go to an feeder school (sends a lot of kids to good colleges) and that's what a lot of these "top students do." This isn't the case for this guy, because some company actually wanted to buy it. Often to work with professors or professionals in your field has to do with connections. Most kids who work at Stanford or intern at Google aren't more advanced in their field than the rest of us completive applicants, they simply have a family member that connections that can help secure those children jobs. Keep in mind that while there are very bright students who can efficiently time manage, some actually go to schools that hand out As like candy, and rich, educated parents would know what schools these are. For people like me and you, we have to work as hard as possible and muster out as much we can. I would recommend exaggerating. To do everything legit, you have to be one of those academic freaks (although there are many of them) or you need to not have a life.
Hi, i have 3 questions towards college applications since i am in 9th grade and an aspiring computer scientist 1) ideally how many coding languages should i know? is it better to know one language very well, or 2 languages to a reasonable extent for versatillity? Or should i just take CS50 as the basics and based on what i want to do, example machine learning, go more deep into one of the languages in cs50 in terms of machine learning to make a machine learning project. 2) when doing projects such as nivaro, and technological projects using mainly data analysis and ai, if you want to do research and extracirriculars should you have a main focus on things such as data analysis and ai, to deepen them within the application, or based on your extracirriculars go into many more fields? 3) generally should you focus on a few handful of topics in your extracirriculars, or be very broad and choose many different ones, such as acoustics, machine learning, etc.
It doesn't matter how many languages you know. What matters is how you apply them. You can say you're fluent in Python, but how can you show what you've done? "I'm fluent in x language and have done this with it" is much better than "I'm fluent in x languages"
Hi david Can you send me the syllabus of Mechanical engineering? I am thinking of doing a master's degree, so check the syllabus and see what it is like in the Indian institute or the US institute.
No way I got recommended this, you go to the same magnet school as me (I could tell from your class names). I am in the AOS program, and I am trying to make it to Stanford, my grades are absolutely terrible, but i'm working on getting them up right now, any advice?
My ssc result is 4.94 and hsc result is 4.17 out of gpa 5 . Can I get any science scholarship in USA for my undergraduation. Please help me. If the answer is no. Then please tell me what should i do.i have study gap 1 year
thank you so much for this. you seem like a smart, hardworking and genuine person. i hope you do well at mit

Dude keep making videos. MIT is the goal I have. Also you gotta teach me all this ai and neuro network stuff
woah this guy is cracked
Bro please make videos on regular basis because we want to learn something new from you
Big Nate lets go
Do I need AP? I heard that’s not necessary for the application
If offered at your school, 100%. If not, you better have all As
is mites semester only for people studying in USA or us citizens studying abroad can also apply?
Do you think a recommendation from someone who is already in MIT would help me? Or like how much would it boost my chances
This guy gets it!
Hi david

How many subjects you need to write for your SAT test
Where did you learn NextJS, React, etc. from? what hosting service do you use?
freeCodeCamp and khan academy for that learning.
I would highly recommend vercel for web hosting
did you submit a research portfolio or a maker portfolio?
I also want to study at MIT. But i can't even speak in English properly.😣
I want to go in their Aerospace engineering program. Can you suggest me with some tips for it?
Same for me

Very impressive! Guy talks so fast! You are in a good position to be next Ben Shapiro. Did you hire any outside counselor for the application?
