Very good job with the video you covered alot of the malecon I stayed in a hotel behind the crown hotel and did not walk the malecon so next month I will be back to Dr the pandemic was holding me off. Not anymore I miss the Dr sow much I am not dominican I just have so much love for that country I been going there every year sense 2014 this will be my 7th year in a row

El malecon is a cost area not a beach! For Dominicans in the capital there is a beach close Boca Chica. The Malecon is to enjoy it day and night; family will enjoy and meet everybody around.

Good to see you warned them about the water at Guibia, my apartment building is directly across the street from the Adrian Tropical Restaurant on The Malecon, just past the mini castle the Mauad Hotel and Spa
I always have to have an earplug in my ear closest to the ocean, otherwise I get an ear infection from that nasty water,

@@PurelyWalking We did not visit many places because we will move to SD in summer for living. So we more focused on family and searching for shops to by all the things we need there.

All this time I'm thinking that this channel belonged to a guy, and then I heard that sexy voice. Thanks for sharing. The murky waters on that area is usually because of the Ozama river that ends up in the sea. Usually when it rains the river brings down that murky water.
I hope they do something about the water contamination.

Hermosa costanera, El Malecón! Seria importante, que el transito pesado lo puedan desviar por otra ruta, así no entorpecen la circulación y la tranquilidad de los huéspedes o turistas que se alojan en los hoteles de esa importante avenida, ademas del impacto ambiental que generan las bocinas y otros ruidos molestos para las familias y sobre todos los infantes, que buscan disfrutar de la naturaleza y el mar que allí convergen, y agregando también, la contaminación y el peligro que representan dichas maquinas pesadas para aquellos que cruzan de una vereda a la otra. La avenida George Washington, mas bien conocida como El Malecón de Santo Domingo, debería ser una via turística, para la recreación y educación de las familias dominicanas y de todo aquel que la visite. El Malecón, tiene que estar llena/o de vida, con carruajes eléctricos y un tren colonial que permita brindar un paseo a lo largo desde la avenida del puerto hasta el Centro de los Heroes, acompañados de guías expertos que van contando la historia de los monumentos y del mismo malecón. Esta decisión podría atraer a la zona, más inversionistas locales y extrajeras/os que instalen restaurantes, pizzerías, heladerías y de noche que brille por el esplendor de la iluminación. Saludos!
