Oh my gosh I am in love with those colors I have been out in my God since 10:30 a.m. it's almost 12 hours watching your videos even if I've already seen them, I did find a couple of cups that I haven't seen and this video here. So love them colors.😮😮😮😮
I just want to say along with the applause from your followers on amazing talent you possess👩🎨🎨from Summerland BC I love your spirit and intention to help others learn with you technique and tools shared with full disclosure. Love you love your artieness. You and BR Turner gave me my hopes and drive to start to paint again after fractures in my spine took my arm motion and blasted it to the moon!! Depression has lifted and I've been trying to execute and accomplish something as beautiful. Love to have workshop with your personal attention online. Im in Summerland BC. Thank you Shelee🎨Whoop WHoop❣
I love that! Looking for just the right color is that would work in my house that kind of work nicely I’m gonna have to remember your combination or something like it. I haven’t use varnish in my base but I think what I need to do is get a class with you on FaceTime 😮
Waterfall Acrylics hi there 👋 I’m Tracy Bowman, when would you be available for a FaceTime class with me. I thought a had a good handle on this but the last 3 paintings I’ve done are real bad. 😢 would love some direction. 🙏 My email - tab4art@gmail.com
I’m sitting here watching you because I need to do your technique, I’m using black white gray silver, it’s a commission and different. 😂 a skull of an alien.I have a dragon next.
Love watching you paint and chat too. Where did you get your lazy susan. I can't seem to find one that spins easily. I've been a little lax about painting too especially this past week. Almost 2 months of sheltering. Yikes
Daaaamn, woman! Freakin awesome! I keep buying ultra deep base timetable gloss, but it comes out like it has white in it, like I put white into it and pales out there colorarte pigments! I have three different cans and old one, same label is only one that was great?
Well done Karen. That turned out a fantastic day. I'm going through a pretty dark time and you ALWAYS cheer me up. I have Fibromyalgia, arthritis and have suffered depression for many years. My medication usually works but sometimes I have a down day or week.So you getting up and doing these three pours has made my day. I'm off to get my paints out with my granddaughter. Keep yir chin up. Love from Scotland xx
Karen, we are all in the same boat. It is difficult to be inspired when staring at the same four walls every ding dang day. I have been waiting patiently to hear your voice and see your beautiful work! Much love from AZ 💕
FKing awesome ...er I meant .....freakn awesome lol....love ALL 3.....for someone who has lost 'her mojo' you hit all 3 of them BANG ON! Love the colors....you seem to have a knack not only for color combos but also composition and what the painting needs in terms of 'swipes', 'spins' etc! Well done!!!!!! TY TY TY for the inspiration! And the smiles.......love your smiles especially the ones that reach your eyes!!!
Dear Karen it’d absolutey stunning as all your artworks! Can i ask yoy which sort of polycrylic u use , semi gloss, clear gloss , it’s not seen clearly, sorry for disturbing, many thanks 🙏🏻🥰
So beautiful- I have not started this new hobby yet but watched masses of your videos. I am trying to find suppliers of the paints etc you use - a little tricky here in NZ and very expensive with postage if find supplier from overseas who ship to NZ but will keep trying or maybe just try some paints we can get here? Thank you so much for sharing your work - truly inspirational and just love the colours you use.
Lynne Newell 👋 I’m a Waterfall Superfan. I can recommend Golden paint from Gordon Harris. They are pricey depending on what colours use choose, I get base colours then mix my own shades. A little goes along way. I worked out USA price and delivery was far more expensive. Cheers Karen from Oxford NZ
I order online and pickup at the door at Michaels. I don't know if you are still have problems. But maybe that helps. Love your paintings. Your colors are awesome.
Karen, you are so spectacularly talented and I am so inspired watching your videos! I’m sorry you’re feeling down but you’re not alone! We all support you and appreciate your art! Sending good vibes you way! 🥰
Great stuff Karen. Just starting to play with this process and integrate it with my woodturning hobby. Having a problem getting some of those great cell that show up in your work. I think it comes down to the Floetrol, I've purchased some on Amazon but it was made in Pa. If I search for Australian Floetrol it says it cannot ship to U.S. Where is a good source for Australian Floetrol.
Love these colors together! Gonna try my hand at this technique again. Have not had much success with lacing, but you have inspired me to try again. Thank you!
So glad you forced yourself to paint! Three beauties, and the two squares really look like a perfect set from what I saw. Hope you are now feeling more inspired. :) I am. I do plan projects from one color that catches my attention, too. I don't know when I'll paint next and feel blessed to be working when so many (including both my kids) are not. If only I weren't exempt from overtime. ;D Be well.
Karen these are absolutely beautiful I love your easy recipe I’ve been waiting on my Australian floetrol I ordered like over 2 weeks ago can’t wait to try these so happy to see you paint again you go girl 👍
How do you get your sides so neat? I saw the tape on the back but it looked like you scraped the sides on one of your pieces because there was a definite edge or finish from the top to the sides.
so beautiful, I found the answer to my previous question in the video ;) How much varnish vs. the sherwin williams do you mix..is it 2 parts untinted base to 1 part varnish?
So so beautiful. I love all of them and your round is so gorgeous and so American Indian. Their colors and design. Good job and I so much enjoy watching you. I hope you doing this made you feel better because you did great. Thank you for sharing.
First canvas - fabulous, gorgeous, great colors, textures, cells, negative space, nice balance/composition, what's not to like, as they say! I agree that that "copper" looks more like lavender/mauve, weird, wonder if they mislabeled it? This one reminds me, are you still planning on your four-part piece? That sage-green looks like seraphinite. Second canvas, lovely organic butterfly-wing effect, very pretty! ... and yes, the two will look great side by side, definitely a set. Number 3, blue-russet, what a great color! Another beautiful success, with an iridescent snakeskin band...all three efforts are superb, bravo!
TaDa! Those turned out beautiful. Love these colors. I think we’ve all got the blah's, Karen. Too much time stuck in the house. I keep pouring daily to force activity. Hang in there. Northam is going to give us a bit of freedom the end of the week. By the way, I got same day delivery from Michael's in Williamsburg this week. You pay for it, but it worked out great. Maybe your Michael's offers it as well.
All three turned out awesome.😮😮😮
3 for 3! Yay.... all are beautiful!
I liked how the finger helped to get rid if excess👍👌
Oh my gosh I am in love with those colors I have been out in my God since 10:30 a.m. it's almost 12 hours watching your videos even if I've already seen them, I did find a couple of cups that I haven't seen and this video here. So love them colors.😮😮😮😮

You can find it on eBay. It takes forever to arrive but it’s sooo worth it. Pre-COVID it was about 3 weeks; post-Covid 4 weeks and counting....
Thanks Karen, just ordered from EBay
I’ve got the blahs too! Totally relate, but I’m grateful to see your creativity tonight! 😘
