Yep. You CANNOT get the Byme-A or the Byme-D stabilizers to do the required "Level Calibration" UNLESS they can see the FULL stick output ranges of Rudder and Throttle -100% (1000usecs) and Aileron and Elevator +100% (2000usecs) AND the receiver output is in AETR order. I think that the Byme-A must have ch 7 in the Throttle Armed position and both the A and D should be in the Manual Switch Positions.
Hi Stephen, in case anyone who encounters the problem like yours, I'm leaving solution here as well. First, you'll need to make sure all the servo phases are correct and the BymeD calibration can be done by pulling both joysticks to outside corners. Then check if all the surfaces work normally,When it's at Manual Mode(SWC-Down), all surfaces are neutral. When it's at Stabilize Mode(SWC-Up), surfaces move a bit and are able to auto correcting. Last, ff the surfaces don't performe correctly, please press the button on the Byme-D to reverse. Feel free to send mails to after_service@@t if there's any more doubt.
Did you get yours going Kyle? Apparently most of the problems stem from the fact that, while it no doubt works for their own Tx/Rx combos, when you use a different Tx/Rx combo with S-bus or PPM output, the stick positions for entering calibration change from the manual usage of both down and out. For my TX16S/Turnigy-iA6C combo it was (mode 2 Tx) left stick down and out right stick up and out. Someone else quoted both down and right - no idea of their combo. Experiment with all possible permutations of sticks to corners. (Remember to hold each for 5 seconds or so before moving on to the next.) Once you've got the calibration to work you can use the button on the stab to correct the stabilization movement directions.
I got it to calibrate (jumper t8sg) and control surfaces do fine when switched to off. But in gyro mode both wings give strong elevator as if it's no longer in level calibration. It might be a accelerometer I don't know about. I gave up.
@@kyleweber6969 Just a thought - have you set up the 2 mode switches (on channels 5 and 7) and have you checked which mode you are actually in (of the possible 5 choices.) Might you be in the Vertical Mode? What stick positions did you have to use with the Jumper and what receiver were you using?

Translated with Google and the information that you have given is good! Thank you Nikolai! "1nformatica" on RUclips gives the only really useful video information on the Byme-D!
Had this problem on my radiolink byme-a gyro. Solved it by removing control surface limits (a.k.a. rates/dual rates) on my transmitter.

thank you.
Question: Does Byme -D work with v-tail planes?
@@message2prateek I would ask Radiolink this question
@@message2prateekI am sorry, Byme-D can not be used with V-tail planes.
I searched RUclips for byme-d because I am having EXACTLY THE SAME PROBLEM. Did you ever get this figured out?
i got it working... with lots of help from Radiolink

@@kyleweber6969 ya...it did the same for me but it all worked out in the end. Maybe mske a video?

We have the same problem sir I got both byme A and D . I junk ha ha ha ha
Nope. They actually work quite well - WHEN you can get the information to set them up correctly! 😉
