I just got one. Had to get a good power supply for it but it’s in mint condition. It has good tone variety and the build quality is great. $50 for a vintage box ain’t bad
Still one of the best systems out their even over a decade since its release built very well professional quality not one single issue and still very relevant Today..
LINE6 and BOSS Floor processors are simply the best all are built very well and strong and built to Last the older systems like the Floor pod plus will always be very relevant no matter how old they are same With BOSS Systems
I love the gate dial! Best thing about this floor pod is you don't have to spend $100+ on each individual petal. Great starter unit. Just wish it had a looper option for solo sessions
love mine, just got a used one and its great. I got it for the effects but its got lots of great functions. i still use it with my pedal boad especially live. i need the pedals because i turn them on and off durring songs, but i used the pod as my core tone. Oh, great video to mate! glad you like it too!
The line 6 guy at a gc said as we all figured. Thats not a handle but to protect from you stomping the knobs. Look at the other line 6 decks too. Great vid.
I just got mine and man, the possibilities seem endless on this thing. So much to learn. I agree on the pedal feel. There is an adjustment for the pedal stiffness too. Very nice... Thanks...
It is a sturdy pedal combo with a great range of tones. You can also overwrite any presets with your own. My only issue is the it is a pain to stomp the switches up or down in order to scroll through the stored presets. Pity they didn't design it so you just used a keyboard (or a remote control) to type in two digits.
Do you know how to switch on and off the effects? I've been having trouble with mine and also how would I control the feedback, cause it seems like the volume is kind of sensitive and gives off a little bit of hiss like air when I lower it, but it may just be the amp.
How do you hook this thing up ? I’ve had it for months and couldn’t figure out how to connect it to my effects loop because I’m a rookie , help please! Lol
Sorry about the late response you’ve probably worked it out by now. But it goes guitar to cable to pedal to cable to amp. And of course you’ll need the power supply connected. Anyway happy playing and thanks for watching my video :-)
So as far as the ability to really mess with the dynamics of the tone, are you pleased? I'm a metal guitar player looking for a stomp box I can use to open up the tubes in my peavy. It's not that I'm unhappy, I just wanna push it even further!
+Gunnar Rufo I am above average pleased but who knows how it will react with your gear ...especially valve amps, they just seem to choose which pedals they wanna play ball with and which ones they don't. Still, if you get a Floor Pod Live you should be able to sell it for whatever you bought it for so there's not much risk.
I have one that I use daily. Really solid effects. I don't use the amp models as I use a 5150 overdrive for live shows but the they work well for just about anything. It's a great unit.
I just picked one up used and the editing is fast for creation etc, overall a nice unit and payed less the $100USD but the distorted sounds really need serious tweaking. I compared it to my old Zoom G3 and the distortion just seems to harsh on the Pod. But in all multi effects the stock parameters are more of a starting guide or template but it's a nice unit. I have my share of POD bean units so used to Line 6 but they definitely could have better people creating the factory patches.
Can you tell me if there is an on/off switch to turn it on and off? when i am finished the only way to turn it off is to unplug it, and then plug it in when i want to use it.
I think I remember that there's a 'channel volume' control. This should be the volume of the individual patch as distinct from Master volume. I suggest you start at your first patch, set the volume right, save it, and move on to the next until you've gone though literally every patch you've created. Arduous process but worth it :) Gearfacts
Ok.Guys I am go ing crazy how do stop the flashing .Every time i go to change. The bank.To bank on my Line Six Floor pod plus please its driving me NUTS.Robin Minizter Cahill
Not impressed. Just like all the other Line 6 Crap I've owned.... from the old POD Bean, to the live, to the XT Live, to the HD500X, the M13, and more recently the Helix. To be honest, I prefer the BOSS ME80 over ALL of the Line 6 Products for middle of the road Processors. Don't get me wrong, I have Fractal stuff as well, but that's in a whole different league. Don't waste Money on this Crap
Perfect for live and studio playing have had mine since 2007 when it first came out its still going strong
Do you advice i get this now 2020
@@HamzatOluwapelumi I just bought one today
@HamzatOluwapelumi it's still very relevant in 2023

Yep, totally up to date sound. Great ped :) GF

Does anyone know where is the best distortion in this processor?

@@gearfacts thanks for responding, I never could get it to work so I ended up selling it and getting a zoom g7
Same connection method for the G7@@TheUlesifah701
@@gearfacts thanks bro!
Does it work with a fender champion 50xl? it has a footswitch hole beside the input. I don't know how to make them work together, what do I do?
Your reviews are great Glynn.Wherabouts in oz r you from.Im from Melbourne.
I'm here in 2020 do you still advice i get this
Yes, I think it still competes with other good processors today, especially on the clean and crunch sounds. And it usually sells very cheap :)

Yep I think "solid" is the exact right word for its feel.
The effects and cleans are great but the overdrive and dist. Require LOTS of tweaking to get a half decent sound
Yes, distortion of any kind is always the true test of the quality of any multi effects system. Gearfacts

I think cutting the power is the only way. I don't know why, but that's how they made it.
@@gearfacts thanks. I thought this was the only way.
can you use two modulation effects in 1preset?
I don't think so
Any tip on keeping volume consistent from tone to tone? I get some super loud and some quiet.

Nux mg100 or this one? Is the nux more user friendly because of the screen?
I think the Line 6 has more power in its cleans and overdrive sounds. It's a bit more of a serious gigging tool than the Mg-100 :) #gearfacts
Hi Glynn just bought this on gumtree for$80.Wrapped with it great sounds and patches. What do u think of the pod xt live?
+subulion Also great. I've reviewed in on youtube :)
I Still use mine for recording/JJ
Yeah man, it's a little-known gem. Thanks for watching Gearfacts :)
Hell o can pick one up for 60$ think I will pay day
Do it ;)

Nice work Glynn !

Amp sounds like crap . I'm sure that pedal sounds a lot better .
