When you were turning up the volume and saving it you used the wrong knob. You turned up the master volume that raises the volume of all the amps instead of the individual amp volume.
Perfect example on how to use this pedal. Ive been using the floor pod plus since 2012, i bought it used from a friend for 40 bucks for my birthday present to myself and i really think the floor pod line was seriously overlooked and under appreciated! i have also been through 3 different amps with the pedal, all which i still have. first an Ibanez 12" combo TB50r then second a Randall RG100SC 2x12 combo and now finally a True Mini Monster the Hughes and Kettner Black Spirit 200 with 4x12 mojo tone cab and i still love using the floor pod plus through my amps EFX loop it really makes an already damn good sounding amp just that much bigger and better Thanks.
I bought a used one cheap on Craigslist. The Vox AC30 crunch amp and the clean Fender Twin amp were the only 2 I liked. The drive and high gain amps just sounded too fizzy and digital to me. Although I never tried it into my amps effects return, ended up selling it after a month of messing with it
I have used this pedal a lot going direct into PA-systems and then having a little amp or monitor for myself. I also use it going into regular amps. It's just so easy to work with and versatile too. And it still sounds ok to my ears. And its sturdy too. You can also combine it with other pedals. Good review!
I have The Floor Pod Plus and it is good stuff if you RUN IT THROUGH YOUR EFX LOOP and keep the amp modeling effects off ! ..if know how to tweek the effects settings just right (compressor, noise gate, chorus, delay, reverb ext.) have a good ear and a good sounding amp you can really get it sounding HUGE!!!!
Very informative. I've had a Floor Pod for a while, but have only used it one time. I have been using Line 6 amps for 15 years. After watching you, I understand the functions of the pod much better. You didn't cover the pedal, and it would be more complete to also cover the ways it connects to an amp, board, stereo and ipod. Thanks for the tutorial!!! I will be watching it a couple more times tonight.
It is a sturdy pedal combo with a great range of tones. You can also overwrite any presets with your own. My only issue is the it is a pain to stomp the switches up or down in order to scroll through the stored presets. Pity they didn't design it so you just used a keyboard (or a remote control) to type in two digits.
@@argyu And who said it didn't have good metal tones? Its all in the way you use it. How would having an interface get you good metal tones? Do you know what an interface is?
@@DoctorMcFarlandStudios I'm thinking about buying one off FB marketplace, but the seller doesn't have the power supply. Just wondering if any 9v will work?
Tq for the tutorial. Im deciding between this and zoom g1x four. Hmm
Floor Pod is very old. You would be better off with a Line 6 Pod Go is you wanted to keep it simple.
best tutorial on floor on the net 👌 I also add tube screamer and boost in order to give some my own flavour. Did you use direct/amp mode here?
Thanks a lot! This was very very useful.

thanks for the info
Can I connect the line 6 floor pod to a power amplifier in direct mode?

Its not perfect but not horrible either. I can make something work to suit my ears.

Thanks for watching. Its still a classic in all respects.
Please, do you mean it is possible to use Floor Pod and Mooer Radar (IR) together ? Thanks.
Yeah that should work fine.

Jul¡o well since you are 14 I assume you don’t have much experience with gear. I will make a special Pod Metal video just for you.

Is there a way to control the wah volume? Volume increases a lot when I switch to wah mode
Marcelo Flores not sure. I borrowed this unit to do the video. There may be something in the manual.
@@DoctorMcFarlandStudios I looked all around the manual, mentions wah calibration, not wah volume :(
@@marcelofm80 If I am not mistaken, they way pedal is also a volume pedal so probably not
