It would be great if the consol could measure player heights for determining starting player, but I feel this is a disadvantage to the AI, who, presumably, has no height and would therefore never go first.
PSA - be careful when enabling the Cross Play setting! In 4-player games, this setting really makes the game harder for players 2 and 4, as they never get to take a turn. This does make for an interesting experience, as their resources keep accumulating and the game economy eventually breaks down once they start playing kingmaker. I'm hoping the next update's patch notes includes some fix to this problem, because I'm really hoping to hack a turn-turn-sideways button that switches the game over from 1-3-1-3 to 2-4-2-4. Fingers crossed!
it's disappointing that there's not a place to input how tall everyone in my play group is - do I just have to enter everyone's heights manually every time I start a new game? it'd be nice to be able to set it and forget it in the settings menu.
This game looks incredible! Preventing the top down selection camera will make it so much easier for newcomers to get into the world of Catan (and NOT by hacking the Catan mainframe!)

Cross Play gets especially problematic if Mr. Catan ever gets knocked over, since then there is no cross player.
Pretty sure the patch notes are part of the lore of the game involving the original settlers of Catan who were pirates and therefore wore eyepatches

Without those Patch notes I would have never been able to hack the Catan mainframe. (Now you know who to blame when your 8 never gets rolled).
