And they did a pretty good job at it. I’ve played a lot of ports with really clunky controls.
And they didn't need to cause consoles now have mouse and keyboard

I’ve been playing the tropico series for yeaaaaars now on console, I saw this on sale for 30 bucks and it looks like its perfect for me lol. I miss PC gaming for games like this the most. I grew up with the tycoon and sim city games, command and conquer, company of hero’s etc…
the fact its co-op as well is amazing, i got overwhelmed once i hit engineer playing alone but in co-op its so damn good.
Yes but... No dlc... Cosmetics only...
Brick streets are great. I initially just did them in production areas so workers move faster, but the additional range is great for marketplace, churches and such. Also I'd say a must for electricity also since it extends the range on electricity as well.

Don’t worry about turning blueprints off the upgrade button also works on blueprints so you can map a city out and upgrade areas into buildings when the need arrives.
L1 + double X click (ps5) selects all ships on the screen. Just double-clicking X on a particular ship selects all ships of the same type on the screen.
I’m so happy I found your channel. I’ve been having a hard time finding somebody place consul version who can give advice. It’s mostly PC but there’s a lot of things that are different between PC and consul.
Anyone got tips on how the trade system works on console I don’t understand the part where you load goods and unload when setting up a route

1st charter route is not completely free of charge. It still cost money, you just dont have to use any influence to maintain it.

First off let me say amazing video thankyou for the tips. Secondly, to all the people saying games like this are unplayable on console: This game by FAR has some of the best UI/UX for pad play. I would compare how well its made to the likes of Stellaris Console Edition and Rimworld Console Edition. Its very clear the devs really put a lot of thought into how this game is played with a controller. I playtest all the strategy games on console just to see what devs are doing to innovate on pad play for these 4x/RTS/Strategy Games. I dont want to be rude but anyone saying this game is no good on console is either trying to be a negative nancy toolbag, or is genuinely ignorant of how good these games are starting to become for controller players.

How do you collect a wild animal on Xbox?
Where’s the creative mode ? I thought it was going to have it when I got it
I do fine everytime until I get to the part where I have to blow up the mine to get to the coal. After that I start losing money and I can't upgrade the houses anymore. When I am able to upgrade the farms, should I upgrade all the ones I can or should I just do a few. I have started over everytime I get passed the blowing up the old mine. I need help.
For anyone with PS5, how do I respond to requests or quests ?
I go to quest tracker by using the left pad button, but I cant work out what button to press to be able to fullfil the request for 4 Work Clothes.
I have clicked X on the ship, the dialogue window pops up, but I can't access it to respond and complete it (I somehow did once by total fluke, probably wrenched the controls so much I inadvertently did it, but since then, no luck)
So frustrating that there is no online manual for something that is likely so damn simple.
If it's a delivery to Blake or anyone else you hit the touchpad (PS5, not sure about Xbox)when the dialogue pops up

Thanks for watching, you mean the recources in the top right? You can adjust these in the menu's. Otherwise it's the stock console menu

For the life of me I can find how to respond to the quest pop ups. Ship in harbour, have the goods in the warehouse and can’t get it on the ship
What do you mean? You need to bring goods in a ship, to the ship of the quest giver. You can also press left and select "go to quest" if you cannot find the location

How do you get the 35k + balance so quickly in the game?
Are the console dls different from pc?
I wish I knew that all the warehouse goods inventories would glitch scroll up and down without touching any buttons and after over 100 hours into a game you cannot load any of your ships or set buy/sell stock levels, it`s completely BROKEN.
Remember to sell the soap to the prison and not to drop it in the prison.

New ps5 player of Anno 1800. I'm stuck and unable to get past Edvard Goode first mission on giving him 4 Schnapps. I have over 20 and I can't give him any. What button control do I press?? I've search every channel for ps5 players that shows this simple yet hard mission. I'm wondering if the game is Bugged. Because there is another mission that I can't pass and it's the Newspaper guy's ship. I've selected his ship but nothing happens. Any ps5 players that can help?
I'm struggling too. I am trying to play this game on the PS5 and have figured out some of it, but about 90% of it, I don't understand. There doesn't seem to be any help in-game either. Ubisoft seems to think we all should just magically be able to paly this game.
@@ShiftysRevenge This game definitely does not have a proper how to play mod. I finally passed those two missions by button mashing the Controller. It was the Center pad of the controller. Select the object (which is the ships) wait for a trigger to pop up then press the center pad of controller and I was home free. Still stuck on other in game mechanics though.

Don't know about the console version but on the PC version you can open statistic screen so you can easily monitor your supply and demand and it's absolutely crucial, i think it's also available on the console version (must be)
You can see how many of each buildings you need by going to management. If your supply is lower than demand, you'll need more. This can shift sometimes though. Bakery's and fishing huts seem to sometimes be either entirely alligned with supply while sometimes they lower in production. You can also see how many workers/farmers etc you need for each build. Each house can hold up to a specific amount of people too so be sure to check that out as well :)
These games are horrendous on consoles, im new to the series.
Where can i see the needs of my people?
Also, how do i know how many distilery's i need for a schnaps factory etc.

This particular console Portis really well-made and is pretty much on par with PC in terms of functionality. The only problem I saw was long loading times for saves in mid-lade game and long texture loading time, when you quickly zoom in you can clearly notice very low quality textures, because the higher quality stuff doesn't load immediately.
But these are not critical.
Can anyone send me links for how to play this game on PS5. I can't find ANY guides for ANNO 1800 for console and it is driving me crazy. This game looks amazing and I can't even play it. If I can't find any help, I will be forced to shell out $60 bucks for the PC version. :(

#1 thing is dont play anno 1800 on console it sucks, but on a HIGH END PC, its just such an AWESOME GAME.
Not everyone is a member of the PC master race.
