That’s awesome! I recommend joining the F450 group on Facebook and searching the group about DBL customers and their experiences. It’s a great resource for sure.
@@TinyHomeToyHauler Fortunately, not on fb… DBL is no bueno? Honestly I thought they were the only game in town with super singles. Just assumed they did yours. Who would you recommend?
Though we haven’t had to(knock on wood) our stazworks wheel are amazing, but we have rotated them. Lol. It’s a good CrossFit workout. Maybe we will do an Instagram reel for people to enjoy. Haha.
@@TinyHomeToyHauler How about adding a hand-crank winch (fixed or detachable) over the tire carrier - to allow us weaker guys and females to lower and to replace the blown tire, with minimal effort? Easy enough to do myself but it would be a popular factory option and arrive looking more ‘factory!’ Just sayin!
I bought a Ford Excursion for overland for $3800 last month with 150K miles on a V10. Paint needs some attention.... Some odds and ends to tie up but otherwise a rig that had same owner for last 23 year! Now, I went onto look for these bumpers (minor adjustment etc is ok) but these costs more than my rig, nearly twice over. Net-net, I'm building my own ...
Do you know the width of the truck from fender to fender at the edge where the bumper meets? Im trying to find an already made bumper for it. McNeil said its close to F450 bumper width, but would be awesome to get the exact width. Thank you
Looks very cool and ultra heavy duty! What is the purpose of the added lights on the front? Is it just for coolness or can they be legally used for regular street driving? Or is it mainly for off-road capability? I am new to all of this.
Is it possible to request a simple customization? Living and working in South Texas, where tailgate mounted game feeders are part of ranch work, I’d like to have a standard 3” receiver tube on the non-tire side. Would this be a reasonable customization that you think you could accommodate?
Haha getting it down isnt bad and then we use the floor Jack to get it a couple feet off the ground which helps a ton… two person lift from there makes it a lot easier too lol
I would love to know specifics about the super single conversion. I'm considering a new F350 with Carli E-venture to build an overland truck. You've now got me curious about using an F450, especially with the growing market for it.
Super single wheels really just bolt on and then you gotta trim a bunch and get some wide fiberglass fenders to be able to turn. The biggest advantage is the tighter turning radius and bigger brakes that the 450 has. Negative is that it’s trackwidth is wider than the 250/350, but that also means you’re wider and more stable (aka harder to flip).
@Tiny Home Toy Hauler I was looking at the 450 for towing my 42' Solitude before I decided to build an overland truck. Now I'm going to downsize my trailer to something 3/4 or 1 ton srw. The biggest drawback of a 450 in my situation would be the tires. I hear they need to be trued (shaved) periodically. Plus if be alone a lot and would have to figure out solo tie changes and whatnot. However it really not a far cry from the 38x13.5 on Carli 4.5 e-venture that I already had planned. I appreciate all the info, this is definitely in the running for consideration.
You could always run smaller light truck tires on the 450 (aka same tires your would on the 250/350), just make sure your are doing the math (basically drop payload to 259/350 SRW range), so it just be like running 37s on a 20x10 rim on the 250/359, but wider overall package.
It definitely drives a bit better and doesn’t follow all the grooves in the road as bad anymore. They do ride like big mud tires on the highway, but off road they are great
The brake light is only covered a little bit. They actually pushed the arms over to avoid it as much as possible. I believe the problem with a 365 would be that it is wider. I’d give Expedition One a call. You never know.
Backup Sensors work. ACC and cameras are currently blocked. However, our bumper is the first Super Duty extreme duty prototype and they are working on resolving these.

We did a 2” rear lift initially and rubbed a bit off road with the truck camper but not without the camper on the back. Once we went to the Deavers and got a lot more travel our tires self clearanced themselves and require a bit of trimming.
Pretty...unprotective... one little doe will wreck your truck...another stupid city or dessert bumper... my aluminum herd looks great and Can take multiple hits and weighs 90 pounds before winch...
Not really… this thing is stout and way better than stock or having no bull bar at all. Of course more bars could give more protection, but if you wrap a deer around any protection bar it’s gonna do damage. Everything is a give and take, and we are extremely happy with how this bumper came out.

And the video quality is second to none. Those drone shots at the end, especially the drone flying alongside the truck just above the ground, duuuuude
I wish we could get these trucks in New Zealand this look like a beast
Awesome truck buddy i hope you make a list of all the mods you've done I'd like to replicate this awesome machine for off-roading
Hey! We actually have a build list. If you have further questions feel free to shoot us an email or dm of Instagram. www.tinyhometoyhauler.com/about
Dope money. Just ordered a 450 today. Definitely going dbl super single. And I’m digging these bumpers. Tire looks sick on the rear.
Awesome stuff!

That would be cool. I wonder if our bed rack would support something like that… definitely something to run by Expedition One in the future though.
NICE! Ordered my rear bumper from Noah in November, hope to have it soon.
That’s awesome! Did you order the ‘extreme’ duty or standard?

Honestly I’m a RAM AEV fan but Expedition One crushed it with this Ford
We are really pleased with the thought and look they put into them. They completely changed the look of our build in a good way.
Dayum!🔥 Looks killer
Thanks! We really couldn’t be happier.
bro you got a sick truck................................
Thanks man! 🍻
Looks great but you’ve add big weight on the truck!
Gorgeous truck!
Thanks man! Hope you’re doing well.
so rad 🤘🏼
Right?! Completely different look now.
Amazing!
Thanks! It was worth the wait for sure.
Looking good
Thanks! 🍻
Your truck looks amazing, I hope to make my ram look like that.
Thank you! Definitely a Ford family, but AEV makes some great looking RAM parts!
looks badass!
Looks so much better. Even more in the works too.
Sick rig bro. This is what I'm working towards. Please do a video breaking down the estimated cost?
Sick truck 👍
Thanks! There’s way more in the works.
The bed is stock with the fender flares?
Only body mods are the front fenders which are the McNeil 6in wider fenders. The dually bed is stock since it was a dually to begin with.
Do you know the width of the truck from fender to fender at the edge where the bumper meets? Im trying to find an already made bumper for it. McNeil said its close to F450 bumper width, but would be awesome to get the exact width. Thank you
here bc i saw you on the freeway lmao
That’s awesome! Just let me know if you have any questions
You should do an rk sport hood
How much room behind the swings to the tailgate? Think you could fit a drop down table on the back of the swings? Thanks!
It has a few inches. We just haven’t tried yet. Expedition One could probably tell you for sure.
And this truck is in Florida which has no off road areas in the mountains! 😂
We actually travel full time and spend a lot of time in Colorado and Utah 🍻
Can u tell us a measurement of the ground to your open tailgate surface?
To see your total lift.... Thx
which company makes those wheels?
They are made by Stazworks 🍻
@@TinyHomeToyHauler thanks
You should do morimoto headlights!!
Right now we are content with our stock.
Do all this lights in the front restrict air flow through the grill, any overheating issue?
Not that we have noticed, but we run the SPE low temp thermostat.
Looks very cool and ultra heavy duty! What is the purpose of the added lights on the front? Is it just for coolness or can they be legally used for regular street driving? Or is it mainly for off-road capability? I am new to all of this.
Thank you! They are for off road driving, the smaller bumper lights are flood for closer stuff and the four big round lights are for distance.
Is it possible to request a simple customization? Living and working in South Texas, where tailgate mounted game feeders are part of ranch work, I’d like to have a standard 3” receiver tube on the non-tire side. Would this be a reasonable customization that you think you could accommodate?
That would be something to ask Expedition One. We just worked with them on the prototypes for our truck 💪
If you don't mind, would you let me know the brand name of those bullbar mount clamps? Anyway, your truck looks so great!!!
They are actually just off Amazon, but have held up great.
This is random but can you tell me what phone mount that is?
67designs.
How would you load, un load the spare from there?
Enlist The Mountain? Aka Hafthor..
Haha getting it down isnt bad and then we use the floor Jack to get it a couple feet off the ground which helps a ton… two person lift from there makes it a lot easier too lol
Great build.. Q..What fenders did you install?
6 in wider McNeil Racing fenders

Is the brake light obscured by the tire? You have the 335/80r20s right? You think it would be obscured by the next size up 365/80r20s?

What did you do for front fender liners? I understand that the McNeil doesn’t offer anything
We took some plastic stuff from Home Depot and extended the factory fender liner out. Not the cleanest solution, but it has held up well.
Do these bumpers interfere with a truck's parking sensors, or adaptive cruise control sensors?
Backup Sensors work. ACC and cameras are currently blocked. However, our bumper is the first Super Duty extreme duty prototype and they are working on resolving these.

How do you get a 275 lb. tire on that swing arm…?
Our full wheel assembly weights 206lbs. Two person lift is the easiest and using a floor Jack to get it a couple feet off the ground helps a lot too.
wanna sell the old bumpers
Sold them when we put the new ones on. Appreciate the interest though 🍻
Do the rear tires clear with no lift? Any trimming needed?
We did a 2” rear lift initially and rubbed a bit off road with the truck camper but not without the camper on the back. Once we went to the Deavers and got a lot more travel our tires self clearanced themselves and require a bit of trimming.
What MPG are you getting?
7-9 avg while towing and 10-13 avg empty
7-9 avg while towing and 10-13 avg empty
Nice design, but metal too thin.
They engineered our bumper to handle the weight, so all the metal is quite a bit thicker than there standard bumpers.
Lol I stopped immediately
Do you really want your water cans next to your gas can ? I hope that’s not drinking water
