- This is a video talking about the suspension setup on my 2019 #ford #f450 #superduty #overland truck. The suspension is from DBL designs and the rear leaf pack is custom made by atlas suspension. Have been running this setup for 70k miles and got 60k miles out of the first set of #continental #mpt81 tires. #6.7 #powerstroke #supersingle #vanlife #truckcamper #camping #offroad #4x4 #diesel #camper #truck #nomad #offgrid #41s #offroading #offroading #desert #2019 #2020 #2021 #2022 #2023 #gen1 #gen2 #gen3 #foxshocks #
Sick rig bro. That beast is goals
Ah nvm, should've waited a little longer......great rig !
is that the Cirrus 920? I have been debating about what truck and CA (cab axle) to go with to make room for auxiliary spare tank, and super single spare tire. I want to keep the overall truck/camper below 24', and I like how you just offset the camper 8" to have the auxiliary tank! Let me know .. thx.. Marcel
Yes it’s a 2019 cirrus 920 . It’s a great camper.
nice,do you speedometer calibtatory ?
This is exactly what I want for my truck, I checked their website there is not too much detailed information, how much your' cost?
Carli soften their spring rates when the truck is driven unweighted most the time, especially when wheel'n... If the truck is going to be used with camper, Carli will design the suspension spring rates to reflect that...probably by adding air bags...
Nice rig… I have a northern lite on my 450, seriously considering dbl..
What model cirrus is your camper?
Thanks
Couldn’t be happier with the super single conversion.
It’s a citrus 920 camper which they don’t make anymore. I was told they are making a new one but it was suppose to be out over a year ago and still haven’t heard anything about a release date.
did you change out the gears to 6:17?
Beautiful rig man, how much was the conversion to srw?
Roughly 10k lots of factors on parts, labor, etc.
Do you get death wobble with those 40"s
No not normally. I have had it before but it’s only when I have done 15k plus miles without rotating the tires. Once I rotate them it stops.
Where do you carry a spare tire ?
Spare is on the back under the camper above the hitch receiver. I’ll post another video of the setup.
hey, learn your specs before you spout disinformation: I run an F250 with a Carli kit, and HAD a spacer kit before my carli kit, what you are saying is simply not true with respect to carli's front coil kit. I don't have an affiliation with them, but am considering going to a setup just like yours and things like what you are describing don't help people trying to understand how to make this transition.
😂 the bumps too must run a 2inch space to prevent the coil from binding on it self during up travel. If you’re not running it cool but must just street drive the drive.
You have no idea what you’re talking about in terms of coils and especially Carli ones at that lol
Thank you all comments and opinions welcome
