    I think it is good to go "Back to Basics" once in a while. Keeps you sharp and helps you to appreciate all the fancy big ticket items.

    Hands down the most comfortable way to sleep in the woods. I would recommend snake skins to keep your tarp out of the mud:)

    Love my MoonShade! I went to an event that had no awning or shade. So, I just pulled it out and clipped it to the chainlink fence! 🤘🏾😎🤘🏾

    33 minutes into this video you were approaching a large puddle and it reminded me of the first video that I watched of yours...when you nosed the black JKU deep into that hole with the entire front end under water. Been watchin ever since.

    Thank you for my daily dose of relaxation. My wife and I are slowly building our rig and putting some gear together. Can't wait to get out there and experience it for ourselves. Also can't wait to visit the Ozarks one day.

    My favorite video so far! Thank you for all of the beautiful footage of water crossings and drone footage. I love the way you are able to randomly stop and express your thoughts to your viewers. But best of all was when you casually pulled out that pop tart that perfectly matched your hair!

    Looking at using kammock outpost for those long road trips where i don't want to stay in a hotel . Need 3-4 hrs of rest. Quickest way i know other than alum cab camper .

    Was overlanding by Shores Lake recently and down past the spillway on Hurricane Creek I came across a tree still on fire from the burn. Got a good video of it.

    Prescribed burns can get nutty back home in Florida. I've been on some of the back trails of the Osceola National Forest and had small patches of actively burning brush right next to the Jeep.

    This is much closer to how I camp, but you still bring a lot more than I do in my TJ. I started years ago with motorcycle camping on my KLR and SV, where I learned how to pack light.

    Hola Matt! bello, los chicos lo disfrutaron muchisimo! los sonidos del agua las ruedas la lluvia, el verte hacer todo desde un principio, cortar la medera , etc... Cuando vieron tu cara de frio preguntan: Mama, Matt se enferma se resfría? Sale igual cuando esta enfermo? Hace tantas cosas y siempre esta bien de salud.     Just finished watching your video we seen you were going to buy a new tent from global road outdoors good luck you may have set up a deal to promote but when we ordered ours on 2-9-2023 and he took the money out of the bank he told us he had two in stock and would ship it out on monday or tuesday its been a line of hearing nothing and excuses as of 3-25-2023 we still have no tent.

    Another great video! Just wondering if you would let the viewers know if the trail you're traveling on would be good for pulling an off road camping trailer, and I haven't seen a video with you pulling your trailer.     Great road trip! Now we want to know for all those river crossing shots, did you actually set up the tripod on each one? Then go back. Or did you magically get the drone out in the rain. That was a lot of retrieval of the camera while it was raining. We appreciate it.
    It would be cool to have someone filming you as you film each trip. I don't think folks have any idea what goes into videos like this. Your story telling is so nicely incorporated.
    And we started to think a wedge camper was going on the truck. Won't be long according to my magic 8 ball. 😅

    Awesome as always man I think @Overlandxeploits with skip and a few others I rode in with I think may have been through that section 🤷‍♂️ but I could not tell ya as I'm still new to the map tracking and all that but looks as the rain made for some beautiful water sights

    The alternate line comment kinda rubbed me wrong with the fact that parks and wildlife makes those alternate lines for their vehicles and if others have larger vehicles can take that line with no worries. My good friend who works for parks and wildlife does that all the time for precautions and forest emergencies. Also allowing larger vehicles to go through. So those lines “should” be there.

    Dang I hate camping in the rain for sure!! Good job though. You were not worried about camping so close the river in the hard rain?? You should check out the Heaven lay flat tent hammock! Been using one for two years now and it’s awesome!

    How do you keep water traveling down the strap used hold up your hammock from pooling into the hammock? Love your level of cinematography!

      Thanks! Where the hammock connects to the strap breaks the stream and goes down instead of following along to the hammock

    Matt, I envy how many beautiful trails you have surrounding you. Here in Connecticut, we have really nothing at all. But here in CONNECTICUT, we have a pretty good university that I live about 20 minutes from. Not sure if you're heard of it? Most know it as UCONN. They play basketball there. 🏀

    I bet those trees burning were ash trees. They are cutting down trees infested by that invasive boring beetle and in order to keep the eggs in them from hatching they burn the trees.

      All they do is move branches off the windshield. They do nothing to keep them off your paint.

    First of all..
    Am I the only one when pulling those fiberglass poles outta a pocket like that.... that is like... "oh no..this is gonna snap..." and cringes super hard till it is out?

    if there was a fire in that area that alternate line could have been made by forestry equipment and personal.

      You’re right. Most forestry personnel depending on the vehicle they’re driving will make an alternate line for safety. And it’s perfectly okay for people to take that line. This is coming from someone who’s good friend works for parks and wildlife.

      @@RamJamOverland I'm a volunteer firefighter of a small town in Southern Arkansas and we respond to all wildland fires in our area and depending on the size and/or location we call in forestry for assistance, and dozers show up and push lines around the fire and we use our brush trucks to assist them in containment and our other trucks for protecting individuals homes,if any are in the area.

      That line was up a super steep hill and was created by people in SxSs being stupid. It was not created by the Forest Service.

      @@OzarkOverlandAdventures I was looking in the background of your shot. Couldn't tell anything about the hill. And forestry also use side by sides. Just commenting on your channel. Wasn't even disagreeing with you, because there are a lot of people that don't care and trash trails and make it where they get closed. And not everyone gets to see a burn zone.
