Thanks for this wonderful illusion! I came up with a nice revealing of the matching cards: pull them out of the case and lay them on the table one on top of the other. Let the case be examined then take the upper card explaining that this was the spectators choice and lay it to the side of the lower card to which you refer as your choice. Then ask the spectator to reveal "their" choice as you count to three revealing "your" choice at the same moment... Like this you stress the fact that two different choices have been made. I also like the idea during the performance that you point out, that you even don't look at the spectators choice so you have no idea what they chose until the final revealing...
Another effect that kills with little skill required. I can still remember performing your shuffle/cut/deal in my local pub as a closer after handing out an envelope with the three "chosen" cards several tricks beforehand. I'm a hobbyist, a journeyman, but the reaction to that trick lives with me still. Your magic is amazing and I love it bud.
Legit... When you performed the trick I thought you used some double-sided tape inside the upper lid of the box to hide the final card, but you then said that the box could be examined. I was confused. Then I was watching the explanation and as you put the final card under the box on top of the pack, I literally, out loud, said "Nooooooooooooooooo!" Great move! Hi, just subscribed and am now enjoying some excellent videos and tuition! The spaceship that flew over Weymouth , UK last night was the Queen of Hearts and that surprised me!
My 11yr old and 6yr old daughters absolutely LOVE learning these tricks and showing them off. They are super excited to show this one. My daughters say the ship would look like Mickey Mouse's head.
Is it a good idea to spread the cards on the table for letting the spectator choose their card? Ok, it gives the impression of no forcing (while there is no force at all) but by just holding and squaring the deck back in the left hand after the choice, there is no urge to motivate the grabbing of all the cards back in the left hand.

The spaceship would have to look like a Giant Panda - super cute ( to prepare earthlings for future traumatic experiences), four paws ( each one equipped with untold diagnostic equipment able to read people's thoughts and still think earth is worth invading, and finally a giant panda heart across which is writ large :'we come in peace!

It might look like a giant white reefer floating in the sky with hundreds of purple tentacles working their way out of it. Each suction cup of the tentacles glowing different colours and blowing smoke out of them. Nice, simple and effective trick by-the-way.

The alien ship looks exactly like Corgi butt to me. How odd looks just like my dogs rear end. Oh and I have to say thank you to you Jay. I too am cursed with very small hands for a guy 6 feet tall and once I saw you doing certain cuts and sleights it really motivated me to learn them myself and know that with a lot of practice and patience I’d get it eventually.

I saw a ship just last night, couldn't believe my eyes, looked like a 800 ft long hot dog and here's the kicker, it had ketchup and mustard on top. No onions - I just couldn't believe it.
