  • 2012 marks the 100th anniversary of the death of German writer Karl May. His adventure novels made the Wild West popular with generations of readers. Many of his stories featuring characters such as Winnetou and Old Shatterhand have also been made into movies.

    Oh ho thats interesting, I didnt know hitler had a "fable" for karl may or his works.
    Hitler had his fable for many things or authors, and may is not the only author that hitler abused and twisted, he also twisted people like schopenhauer, darwin, einstein, annie besant etc. etc.
    However I would really like to see that upcoming video of yours dealing with this topic since Im interested in it.
    I dont mind if its in english either, im fluently capable of both, german and english.

      Hitler used the white man's expansion into the American West and displacement of the indians in what is called "Manifest Destiny", as a model for the Nazi policy of "Liebensraum". The German colonization of Poland, Western Russia and Ukraine during WW2.
