That was exactly what i needed to see. So yea, it looks like I would be able to move the VX from left side to right side for 2 hitting areas for left handed and right handed…without having to recalibrate. That was what i needed to see to decide to go with this launch monitor! Thanks man!
Great review love mine ,lots of updates coming through from Protee , the range bit basic on there own software perhaps will get a refresh . Gspro software intergrates very well ,cool setup you have there .
Nice video, nice swing, thank you for sharing. Is there a bag mapping feature with the software? Or something that does average carry and total distance?
Thank you, there is a window in the protee software called history so you can see your shots per club and at the moment it doesn’t show you AVG’s, I believe they will do that in an upcoming update.
I do recommend it, I chose it because it’s what would work best for me and what I wanted to get out of my sim setup. IMO it’s accurate enough in the club and ball data to know what I need to work on without having to guess. I suggest picking a few LM that you like in your price range and comparing the pros/cons between them.
That is one of the main reasons I went with the protee vx. I was also stuck between choosing the uneekor or this one. Price was definitely a factor as well for me.
I've owned a first gen Protee simulator for 8 years and have been nothing short of thrilled with their customer service. Other than the time zone difference between my home in the Eastern U.S. and their HQ in the Netherlands, they've been very easy to communicate with. I've just been waiting to see how the new LMs fared against competition like Uneekor before upgrading, because I have no concerns about the company. It's looking like a VX is in my immediate future.
@@kevinb6102 thank you. Yes more that enough IMO, the bay itself is 8’ 4” tall and 12.5’ wide. Screen is about 11.5’ wide and about 8’ tall. If you’re limited on space or have questions I suggest checking out carls place and talking to their customer service they were really helpful when I was looking for my setup. They have a DIY system in their website that you can input the measurements of the room you wanna put the sim in and it gives recommendations on how big you can go.
It’s mounted at 9’. The bottom of my joist is at 8’ 6”. If you checkout my sim build video you can see the brace I built for it so that it would be mounted at that 9’ minimum that it needs.
@@PerezPlayz If my garage ceiling is 9.6 feet, will I be able to install this? Will the top of the unit be flushed with my garage ceiling? I am debating whether to get this or the GC3.
@@doctorpd1959 have to put it on front for it to work. It uses infrared lights to detect the ball. If it helps I’ve have it for about 8 months now and haven’t hit it once.
Perez great video!!! I have the same PROTEE VX system. You are spot on demonstrating the VX.
Thank you, I appreciate the love.
Love that you set up your sim before finishing anything else in your house lol. Great vid man. VX is on my wish list for sure.
Priorities 😂.
Thank you for the love, I appreciate it.

Thank you, I agree with the you on the range, connecting to GSpro and hitting shots on the range there makes up for it.

do you still recommend the protee vx. some are claiming it isnt very good on club accuracy

On the fence on this purchase. The one thing i love - no stickers needed. One thing uneekor has over this - swing optix. Tough one.

What else was on your short list in terms of launch monitors?
Uneekor eye xo, uneekor QED, and GC3.
Sweet video how wide is the bay?
Thanks you, bay is 12.5’ wide.

@@PerezPlayz awesome thanks for the reply
@@PerezPlayz sweet thanks so much! What mats did you get? Have links or anything thx so much in advance. Super helpful
how high above the ground do you have your protee vx mounted? looks higher than the 9'

@doctorpd1959 yes, the mounting plate provided makes the unit sit flush to the ceiling.
@@PerezPlayz Can I put the Protee VX behind me so that my ball would not accidentally hit it? Do I have to put it in front of me?

How far back from your screen is it mounted?
Hitting mat is 10’ from screen and if I remember correctly launch monitor is 40” from center of hitting mat.
