You prob never asked..but do you know if you would have put the VX on a track to move it side to side (I dont have enough room to have it in the middle for both right and left), could you calibrate it to 2 hitting locations? Would it still read as long as it’s in the hitting window and the floor is level? I Thinking an out getting one!!
@chaselytle6746 In my opinion I think it would work with both hitting locations once you calibrate it. I’ll try this out in my review video and hopefully it’ll help answer your question.
That would be GREAT! I had 2 issues keeping me from pulling the trigger (because I heard it was a no refund or return item haha). The other you showed with mounting inside the joist to get your min hight. Good video, can’t wait for the review🏌️👏
@chaselytle6746 Happy to help, I’ll be going over the room dimensions, calibration and a few other key points that will hopefully help and ultimately helped me decide on getting this launch monitor.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought you mentioned you had 8' 6" ceiling height floor to joist. Did Carl's try to steer you away from installing at that height? I have 8' 8" ceilings and Carl's said Pro Tee wants at least 9' and with no refund I feel like I could get stuck. Interested in your information and the conversation with both Carl's and Pro Tee. Thanks, Randy
Hello Randy, you are correct I might have misspoken in this video I do have 8’ 6” from floor to bottom of ceiling joist. I didn’t talk to Carls place customer service about the minimum height required for it, but with the research I did on my own I found some videos where protee talked about it still working at 8’ mounting height. My thought process was if they need 9’ ceilings minimum then mounting the base of the launch monitor at 9’ the cameras would be about 3”-4” lower making the camera height about 8’ 8”. I’ll post another video going into more detail about specific measurements and be as accurate as I can be on how my sim is setup.
Jeru the damaja… haven’t heard that in a long long time
