    Good review, Sean!
    I just ordered one of these this morning before I saw your review. I'm hoping the watch lasts more than an hour with the GPS on, or I'm going to have to rely on my phone's GPS for my rolling in my wheelchair. I usually roll for a good 2-3 hours in good weather, so an hour would only get me halfway through my workout. I picked the E3 because you can use Google Fit on it, which has a Wheelchair activity.

      Just to report back: I went for a roll for 3 hours (about 6 miles) and I still had 53% left in the tank. So I might not be able to do exercise and sleep tracking on the same day, but I don't usually do sleep tracking anyway. :)

    Wonderful review, thank you. You showed me how to add apps when swiping to the right, and how to rearrange them.
    I do have a question about ~ 6.52 when you say "Can not talk or hear PHONE from watch" - YOU CAN TALK on watch! Lol I know this because when I was practicing phone calls with my son I had to figure out how to actually get call on to my phone.
    And it's pretty cool also to actually see a map on the watch with my location on it. I could actually use Google Maps with the GPS if I didn't have a car map. I love this watch, have no problem sleeping with it on and battery life is much better than Fossil watch was. The charge time is phenomenally quick also! Afterthought - if I'm in the sunlight I can hit the power button 2X and the screen will brighten for a few seconds - enough time to see the time or read a message which I could not do with previous Moto 360 or Fossil watches.

    time to buy a budget smartwatch is end of 2022. The technology is rapidly developing at the moment. This Ticwatch is so chunky and the bezels are thick. By EO 2022, we'll have smartwatches ~

    Was interested to buy this instead of Galaxy Watch 4 because it's pure Wear OS (Google Assistant!) and fulfill minimum hardware requirement for Wear OS 3. However the thick bezel and LCD panel is a turn off, but the biggest turn off is the price in my country. It follows global MSRP at US$200, and you know what's available at exactly the same price? Galaxy Watch 4 40mm. I bought the Galaxy Watch 4, I still don't like the lack of Google Assistant, I refuse to use Bixby, and why the heck I have to use Samsung's web browser to sign in to Samsung account!? But damn that amoled screen is nice.

    This is the only WearOS watch that has come with a LCD and not OLED screen in the last four to five years. No ambient light sensor either, so makes it a pain to use in sunlight. 🤦

    • @SeanTalksTech
      @SeanTalksTech  3 года назад +1

      Yeah I don't mind them making them abit pricier but having an OLED really makes a world of difference. But for those looking for a budget WearOS watch, I guess there's a market for it haha 😁

      @@markan8358 lmao. What a joke. Why do you have to press something when other wearOS watches adjust and boost the brightness when out in sunlight, automatically?

    No way i'm subbing a 'reviewer' who doesn't take the time and effort to try products (watches in particular) against differing phone OS, one assumes you reviewed this on a shitty iPhone, where as on Android you can make and receive calls and texts...Rubbish review.
