I was having a tough time deciding which camera from the PowerShot line that I wanted to get. I ultimately went with the G15 because I didn't need the articulating screen and I like the slimness of it, but I am missing out on that dedicated ISO dial - that's nice!
This is why U can get epL3/epm1, or 450 - 500d or d3000/d3100/d5000 or A55/A37/a3000/nex5n/3n/c3 and 28/ 30/ 40mm or 50mm for same results or much better

Im from the Philippines. I actually bought two cameras. This one and a sony digicam for 700 pesos or $12. Both cameras didnt have batteries so it was a risk as the owner didnt know it was still functional. I bought a battery online for 400 pesos or around $8 and thankfully this still works
Where the hell do you get such cheap cameras from? I'm sick of them putting a terribly low price in the title of the video for cameras that are worth 100 or 150 dollars

@@CameraGeekSPT I already have a digicam from sony, it's the w610 model and it's good, but I feel like I need something a little better and that doesn't depend too much on automatic settings and isn't so limited in so many things like photography modes or white balance. I'm not just stingy I'm 14 years old and I can't raise a lot of money
Bought mine a few weeks back for roughly $80 (4,500pesos). Had a 1st gen g1x and it had a bayonet mount for accessories. sadly, this one doesnt have any mount of sorts to attach even a lens hood. Other than than, this gets pretty decent photos and is more compact. Would love to know your settings btw
hi i just got my g12 and i wonder how to enable the flash from the camera because when i press the button there is nohing happen but the button still working when i do media playback, can you give some advise?
I just picked up a g11 today for $100. I learned from another channel that they all have the same sensors, so the settings are all the same. The other channel has a walk through with changing the settings.
12 dollars forget it today....but if you want a good alternative: I have an older canon G10 and you will love his 10MP CCD sensor rendering. Only minor negative points, no raw and no articulating screen. For the rest under good light conditions you will achieve great film like shots.

I see a lot of video stating this can be found at few dollars, but anything used in my country would cost 150 Euro or more.

I don't know where you find this camera for 12$. Its about 100$ maybe more.
I payed $12 for it because it didn't have batteries so it was untested. I buy a wasabi battery for it and was lucky it worked

This isnt preset on PC. this is g12 and fuji 400pro - video setting. Its about magic lantern for canons I think

How about fast E-Pm1 or okay E-510
G12 and older G series cams has CCD sensor. After g12, canon switched to CMOS sensor.
