    I have recently come to the realization that I have lived my life as a narcissist, and severely injured people who I love. I appreciate your videos, which my wife has tried to have me watch for a long time. I especially appreciate this one, which clarifies the way I need to address people and things around me. Thank you.

      many women are driven to assign a categorization of "narcissism" to men in their life who have natural confidence or resistance to over-empathizing or interpreting reality in overly emotional ways. be careful how much you let females take the lead over how much empathy you should experience, empathy beyond a certain point creates a toxic condition in the male.

    way too few people see this, you are my true spiritual guru. I feel everything you say and realise in every video on biopsychology, that I have experienced all that and have actually been working on my charkras without consciousness that it was actual yoga practises. thank you for bringing awareness to my mind and spiritual truth. namaste.

    all good and nice up to the point: right and wrong in absolute terms. right and wrong are always circumstantial, always depending on the context of the situation. fasting without drinking a lot of water is not right nor wrong it is just stupid. about activating, good job, you forgot to mention Agni Sadhana of course; and about 100 other possible tools, but you covered the basics all right. what is not completely all right is you not mentioning the main and most important factor in activating anything. being aware, paying attention, observing. and why? because where your attention goes, your energy will follow. but nice job about the vritti of Manipura. thank you.

    Thank You. Your explanations are very clear and insighfull. I have been long time "on and off" with yoga, never completely submerged to it, but I needed this rational description to understand and motivate to continue. Have to admit, at first I thought look at this slavic guy with funny accent (dont get me wrong i am both slavic and with funny accent), but your way of explaining is so easy and interesting. I had some foreign even Indian very very good yoga teachers, but for some reason they didn't't endevaour too much into the rational explanation of the process and behaviorism of chackras (I knew the basic principles, but anyways...). Can relate to the chackras and behaviours, more over I even made that chackras photo (with that Russian machine that takes photo of fingers) and yes, it all relates to this and other videos. (manipura chakra is weak, and swadhistana is overworking.) Anyway, thank you once again for all this.

      I am happy you find this useful and interesting, we are working on our educational website, it will soon be up. There you can take course, and get inspired by practical experience. Theory is really nothing, it is only 1% of what we can feel and understand when practicing meditation and other yogic practices. And i love my slavic accent, so it will survive i guess :)

    Great explanation Dada, you've covered many facets of every chakra. I can relate a lot, my spiritual journey started in a very young age. I've been in quest of God, self-realization, enlightenment... i took celibacy as an essential self discipline in process of enlightenment. in that efforts somewhere unknowingly i had blocked my Swadhisthan and my most of the life energy was drawn to upper 4 chakras. so i was facing hard time functioning and achieving worldly success.
    Having a beautiful balance and harmony in all the chakras, how can i be and function in Supreme consciousness?

    I have a question or let's say I have noticed some changes, when you talked about taking cold baths or showers it struck me, because I actually do that without knowing, I just enjoy it that way - except in winter I have to adjust it and have quick cold rinse in the end. When I was younger I liked hot showers, but now I can't stand the hot water. I don't know what it is supposed to mean, but somethings have changed in my body. I was curious how this could have happened . Another thing occurred with food, now I"ve lost my sweet tooth, I don't like the sweet taste anymore, rarely I have some cravings, with the smoking as well it was effortless quitting I just couldn't anymore and now a little bit with alcohol - I still like it, but let's say I'm more selective and don't like to drink very often. I would like to know what's your perspective on my case, how can such a thing happen effortlessly while others
    struggle.
    P.S. I would like to thank you for sharing and giving such a genuine explanation on everything.

    Thank you for your video Dada! I found it very interesting and informative. I had some doubts about one point. You say ""If you have a fear... just stand there...until your fear is surpassed". I feel it takes more that just standing up to overcome fear or shame. Being exposed to intense emotions without knowing how to deal with them may cause a psychological trauma and aversion to the type of activities causing them and by itself does not solve the problem. I mean If one encounters himself in a situation of intense fear, for example, it is very difficult to reverse it. Are there any tools that can help at the very moment you feel these emotions? I understand that tools you have named at the end of the video should work in the long run. Namaste!

    • @MeditationSteps
      @MeditationSteps  7 лет назад +3

      When time after time we go through fearful situations, the fear will diminish, we feel lighter and lighter. Of course, there has to be sufficient amount of strength, we should deal with the situations that we can handle. The process should go gradually. In the situation of stress, it is very helpful to repeat mantra, but you should have established the spiritual connection and gained an amount of faith.

      When someone experiment by meditation live without attachment by one second, begins to don´t identify his self with fear or pleasure. Becomes possible "just stand there until your fear is surpassed" because inner you now the real existence.

    Buddha said that you have to get rid of desire but he meant it is for you to find out that there is no life without desire, you can say get rid of desire , then why do you want to do that? I desire enlightment.... Thats desire too , then what? That means he meant be smart with your desire.

      Chanda is referred to as wholesome desire or motivation and tanha as thirst or craving.

    Very helpful videos! I just wish you'd use more gender neutral language in your speech, for example, instead of using the word "man", only, you could add /woman, use human, or humankind instead of mankind. Also, "he/she" or "they" for avoiding bias toward a particular sex or social gender. Thank you much for sharing your wisdom.
