    Kia Ora e hoa. What is the plural version of tāne?

      kia ora! The word tāne stays the same.
      te tāne = the man
      ngā tāne = the men

    how do u say "a" bird?

      On its own "tētahi manu" for "a bird" or "kotahi manu" for "one bird". A lesson on numbers to come in the future :)
