For storyblocks, everything you download on their site is yours for life. Once you download it, you keep the license even after you’ve ended your subscription with them.
I got the subscription the other week. It was a compulsive buy and I wasn't stoked about it. But then I started using it, and my editing levelled up by x100. It's pretty epic!
1) My question is , Story blocks is not meant to used on multiple devices right? Explain 2) For example - if I have my story blocks account in my laptop and some-day my laptop stopped working , what should I do because you said it not meant to be used on multiple devices. 3) As you mentioned, Storyblocks is not intended for use on multiple devices. Does this imply that I can use Storyblocks on multiple devices individually, but not at the same time? Please correct me if my understanding is incorrect. 3) On same account , can't I use it in my laptop and mobile phone as well ? 4) Please tell me the procedure of students pack how to buy if you have? Its important to mention that files from envato elements are extremly huge! 19 seconds clip is often over 1 GB. Storyblocks is much better in my opinion
Hi, I hope things are going well. I definitely agree with you about this. I wish Envato Elements would add the .mp4 file format as an option to download smaller size video files. But then again, because of the licensing agreement with Envato Elements, you're not supposed to re-use video files after you're done with them (Unles you re-licence it). There are only a few files and templates that I have on rotation. But once I'm done with a project, I delete the stock footage I have used or convert it to a an .mp4 format. The good news is that there are always fresh videos being added to stock video websites, so there's always new inspiration for new projects. Kind regards
I've been considering getting a subscription for 2 months to work on a marketing project using stock videos. My concern is about the licensing terms. If I download stock videos during the subscription period and create a marketing video for a firm, would the firm still have the license to use the final video commercially even if I cancel the subscription after 2 months? I want to ensure that there won't be any licensing issues down the road.
@vitaliylahno if i have downloaded lots of assest like music, video, templates and when my subsciption ends can i no longer use them? I can use them when those files are downloaded on my computer right?? Please reply
Hello, if you have downloaded various assets such as music, videos, and templates from Envato Elements during your active subscription, you can continue to use them within the END PRODUCTS that you created while your subscription was active. These end products can be used indefinitely. However, once your subscription expires, you lose the rights to use the assets themselves for new purposes (Because acording to TOS you need to license assets for every new use, and without subscription it is not possible). It is important to note that the assets can only be used within the end products created during your active subscription and not as standalone items.
Hi bro, I have a question if you have a minute. I am not a video editor, but I run some faceless RUclips channels, what happens if I share my Envato elements with my video editor to use the assets? Does that make me break their policies?
So if you buy your editor a membership it should be no problem but in this case, you should not use the account, If you use Envato Elements and your editor uses the same account then you need an agency account with 2 members. I hope it helps.
Hello! I hope all is well. It is relatively simple, you can download from Envato Elements as many assets as you want and just license those that you are going to use for your video (takes 2 clicks). If some assets are part of your intro or outro you don't need to re-license used assets again because it is an end product. I hope I answered your question. Let me know if anything. Kind regards
Music items from Envato Elements are eligible for use on RUclips. They are not eligible for use on Twitch.tv, RUclips Live, Facebook Live, Amazon Prime, Hulu or Netflix.
Envato Elements also provides its own plugin for WordPress based websites. If you use Elementor Website Builder, then this plugin would be super helpful for you.

As a french, i’m not sure to understand everything about the Envato licences. I use an exemple, if i download an animated text asset, i have the licence for only one video ? So if i want to use the same animated text asset for a second video, i have to delete this asset to re-download it for this second video ? & my second question, i send my videos to some of my clients (where i receive money via Paypal). Hello, I hope all is well. If you download an animated text asset and license it, that license is valid for one-time use in a end product. If you want to use it in another project, you need to obtain an additional license (there is no need to delete and re-download the asset). If you send videos (end products) to your clients without any modifications, you don't need an additional license. However, if you customize the video for each client, then you need to obtain additional licenses as required. Intro and outro assets can be considered end products themselves so you don't need to add licence for every asset in the video (just the part that is modified). With a commercial license (which is included), you are allowed to send your work containing Envato assets to your clients without any issues.
