What a great video! Thank you for the inspiration and all those useful information! For me getting better in food videography is to keep learning and trying! I will absolutely try to implement some of your tips in my videos
This is the kind of valuable content I like to watch on RUclips, thanks! You used manual focus all the time, didn't you? Everybody seems to be talking about AF nowadays, but this was beautiful!
I think it is important to talk about focus which you seemed to struggle with and high frame rate flicker. It looks like your slow motion shots had a flicker from the Key light.
I definitely need to start messing around with my frame rates. I've done it a bit but since I'm filming myself, I'm mostly concerned about getting a good focus. Next video...I'll mess about with some 60fps and pull out the gopro to get some 120.
Please record the video without slow motion. This effect is for beginners and is not used in films. Besides, it’s impossible to shoot a 10-minute video constantly using this effect. Everyone on RUclips trying to show how to create a cinematic look thinks that all you need to do is add slow motion, but without this effect, no one seems to be able to create something truly cinematic.
