You nailed it! Fantastic video!! The Danessa Myricks Balm Contour in 1 is the perfect bronzer for light green skin. It’s the perfect color. Nobody ever talks about it, but I’ve panned one and my second just arrived last week. Mac Viva Glam 2 is my favorite nude! ❤ I’m not surprised to hear that everything turns warm on your lips (me, too!) and that you love this one! I will try the silver Haus Labs! I never thought to try it! My favorite foundation color trick is on drop of the Temptu Green Color Adjuster with the clear cap. It take 1 drop or less to correct and never changes the foundation formula. Because you use so little, the bottle lasts forever and it’s not expensive to start with. They have blue, too! Oh I just saw that the new Smashbox Always on Skin Balancing foundation has fair olive shades! I’ve only ever seen that from Lisa Eldridge! I was so excited. Maybe recognizing that we need fair olive shades will become a thing! 🤞🏼

I apply a yellowish concealer first to neutralize the violet tone in the undereye area, then apply a pinkish cool concealer on top to make it less yellow. None of the concealers work for me on their own. I am starting to think I might be olive too!

I appreciate this! I am strongly suspecting I have light olive skin (more tanned in the summer months), but I am not 100% sure yet. I can see a slight green tint to my skin, as well as a lot of yellow (especially in the winter when I am quite pale). I'm not fair, but light. I don't burn easily and have always tanned well (though I live in Canada and so I'm often without much sun for long periods of time). I am getting into makeup again and I cannot seem to find a foundation that is right for me.... it's always too pink, too orange, or too yellow. My veins are mostly green, with some blue and purple. I have medium-dark brown hair, and hazel/brown eyes (my eyes are two different colors, one is brown and the other hazel with a weird patch of lighter blue at the very bottom...yet most of the time they appear dark). So, this undertone business has been quite confusing to me LOL.

I am fair olive, and I think your skin is more rose/pink than olive. I don't see olive undertone at all. Have you tried fair cool foundations with pink undertone?
I'm very confused how this (pale olive skin) is different from neutral shades for redheads? Because that's what it looks like you are trying to do. Why don't you just add white foundation to whatever product you choose instead of color correcting? Maybe make a video with white foundation vs. using the correcting because it seems like excess work to use blue and green. (ALso please put your best matching shades without correcting in your description so people can know before they watch the video.. Because as I mentioned, it literally looks like you have a similar shade or same shade as myself, a ginger... (the closest shade I've ever found is Mac W10 - it was a concealer though sooo.... ). I can do Maybelline N100 if I add white base... The nyx drops in palest shade is the right color but shockingly slightly too pale on me. (Nars Siberia is slightly too yellow but works as a concealer..). the OG laura Mercier tinted moisturiser was great too.. not made anymore.
I’m a bit confused by this but answering to the best of my ability, I don’t add white to my foundations if the depth of them match the own depth of my skin, unless I have something that is too dark in which case I will add white. Olive skin can actually have neutral, cool, warm, and green tones in it unlike just neutral tones. Neutral foundations usually = neither cool nor warm, a balance of both. But since olive skin had a greenish hue, these undertones usually don’t match us. Because of all these factors olive skin has tons of variations, which is why it may be hard to tell on camera the actual undertone of my skin. And I do have a link in the description of my best matching foundations, without added color correction 😊
Hi, I'm a fair olive toned red head! The thing that makes us olive is that our skin has a green hue to it. So usually we buy the right shade in a yellow undertone foundation and mix blue to make green undertone foundation because olive toned foundation is nearly non-existent. You might add white to any foundation because it's too dark but if the undertone isn't green it still doesn't look right. I myself use NARS light reflecting foundation in Oslo with a tiny bit of blue to cancel out the pinkness and a good bit of yellow and that makes it olive toned and when I blend it into my neck (which is what I match my foundation to) it completely disappears because it's now the right shade AND tone. As a fellow red head I highly recommend the LA Girl mixing pigments (the big bottles, not tubes) and getting white, yellow, and blue. You can make ANY foundation match with those. Also check out Redhead Revolution for lipsticks and mascaras. Hope that makes sense and helps!

Because olive doesn't mean warm, especially caucasian olives are often cooler or very close to neutral and warm tones look dirty on us.
@@luckystone2293 I was referring to Lindsey talking about the warmth in her skin. I’m a fair olive. Please don’t refer to real people with any form of the word “dirty”.
@@jessabeauty917warm definitely looks muddy and dirty on us. It doesn't mean we're unwashed.
@@jessabeauty917 when i wear some warm makeup, i look i have mud on my face... so yeah we look dirty.
@@luckystone2293literally she’s not olive 😂😂😂 and no, olive skin is not cool toned
Maybe others are too polite but the unnecessary inserts were so distracting and juvenile I couldn't continue.
they are tasteful compared to what other people do.
You are NOT olive skinned 😂
Thanks for watching! 💕
Yes she is.
Italian/English girl here. She is olive. I'm pale not as pale as her but I'm fair skinned but I'm very olive toned the base of my skin is green. In the summer I'm very yellow looking. Tan doesn't equal olive. She has a lot of redness and may not be as olive as some of us but I can see it in the base of her skin.
@@kirstyperry9592 🤣🤣😂🤣 whyte privileged at the max. She’s not olive toned but y’all go on now.
@@andreiadetavora8471 and your word is gospel lol. She’s not olive skinned AT ALL.
