Nice presentation of information regarding these detectors. I use the Apex and the Deus II. My Apex is running V1.28.2 and its OK for certain sites. When the going gets more challenging, the Deus II comes out. I would really like the Apex even better if Garrett update the firmware, polishing it a bit and maybe adding recovery speed settings and some other tweaks, like other manufacturers have with their machines. 😎

I think Garrett will eventually come out with a multi frequency machine that will offer more adjustments.

@@RelicsRings I believe they will. Sadly, they have most of what it takes in the Apex, just polish the firmware, and maybe add recovery speed adjustment. I like that I can power on the Apex and hunt with it, without wondering if I have the right settings. With the D2, sometimes I have to play with the settings more to customize it to the site. Even then I wonder, are these the best settings for this site.?

@DIG_5050 that's the one thing the Apex has going for it. Turn on and go with relatively good performance.

Glad you liked the video. I've had great experience with Minelab warranty in the past. Very quick in replacement of a faulty detector.

DFX was released 10 years after both the Fisher CZ 6a and minelab Sovereign.

@@RelicsRings They were released before 1991 which is the 10 years you claim prior to DFX which was released in 2001?
Yup, I guess they did! I stand corrected :)
