  • I created this video for people who are looking to try a simple and straightforward wig style. This style offers some structured curls/ finger waves at the top. I love to include these structured curls because they framed the face beautifully.
    -
The rest of the wig is left un-teased and just bouncy without a lot of hairspray to make maintenance easy. If you start dancing, the structured waves might come loose or undone, but with this type of styling it will all blend together. This type of style easily conceals mistakes so even if you feel like you don’t get the style down perfectly you will still have a gorgeous wig!

OMG thank you!! I’m restyling a wig for my bride of Frankenstein costume & was worried about all the back-combing & finger wave setting it will require…now I’m gunna go at it with gusto!

I'm doing this for a beetlejuice-esque costume this year for the first time and I'm pretty excited about it.

So when exactly do you use hairspray when teasing? After teasing each section you spray that section you just teased ?

What do you use to smooth out the front edges of the wig so you can’t see the teasing any the base of the wig in the front hairline??? I’ve used the thin teasing brush but I feel like I just end up brushing all the volume out instead

Are metal rollers better for this

I think so, plastic ones (especially with those plastic pins sticking out) get tangled, as do those Velcro ones, I like to use metal rollers, or those with velvet coating

Just a frontal should be good! The back doesn’t show
