This new trailer is one of the best trailers of all time. I loved how it pays homage to the other trailers. Again, excellent job to everyone who made this.

This logo was incredible. Bringing back something like the flowers from Amazing Life and even Tex. The deep note sounded very cool. This was very incredible and I can't wait for maybe another Tex trailer

I remember _Amazing Life_ showing up on the DVD release of _Star Wars: The Clone Wars_ (the film, *not the 2008 TV series* that followed), and I was stunned with how beautiful the visuals were! I ALSO just recently saw the _Genesis_ trailer, and it brought back SO MANY memories, especially *TEX!!!*

I cannot properly state in words the impact THX has had on me ever since I was a kid. I'm not necessarily interested in sound design or sound mixing or sound editing for my profession (I'm a writer/director), but their intros (and that goddang Deep Note) have been a part of my upbringing, and remain a crucial part of the experience of watching every single THX-certified DVD or Blu-Ray that I own, whether it's a sci-fi extravaganza like Star Wars: Episode II- Attack of the Clones, or an animated, Shakespearean musical comedy like The Lion King (1994). When I hear that sound, and see that logo, and whatever variation of the intro there is (Amazing Life, Tex, Cavalcade, etc.), I know I'm about to have an unforgettable and immersive sound experience
What a master transition into the deep note! I always love it when chaotic musical noise transforms into a poetic beautiful choir of sound.
To be brutally honest, this 'Genesis' THX trailer looks incredible.
man, had no idea about thx still making these things, only ones i knew about where the generic deep note, cow can, and maybe one other. always grew up with movies having the thx audio in them and i'm still glad that the legacy of the logo and audio technology are being carried on today by such wonderful people. props to everyone who worked on this man, really excited to see where else thx goes. thank you for your amazing work over the years thx.

Absolutely superb work! It's fantastic to see the behind the scenes on this project, and I enjoyed the insight into your design and creation process! (Especially the software you use to generate the binaural audio; that's what that was right?) I was born too late to see the original Deep Note in theaters, (either that or I've just never been lucky enough to see it because my local theater uses Dolby surround, a real shame) but it's great to see it on RUclips, even if I'm not really getting the whole experience. :) Thanks for posting!
as a kid i was scared of thx....now is the same...somethings never change
I confess of being one on the unfortunate kids "traumatized" by the classic logo and calling the logo "my childhood nemesis." But looking at the new trailer, it's not as startling or menacing sounding as it was when I was little. I can't imagine what it would be like for a THXphobic person working in the company, but it's not impossible. There may be some that were able to overcome their fear of this logo working at that company RIGHT NOW!

How do you know what's happening on the back of it?
@@garrettk7166 because modular synths are connected via cables that go into specific patch points on the front panel. The back usually just offers a place to plug in the power cable.

For me the most memorable THX intro is the one from toy story with the batteries that had to be replaced by the red guy.

Man, i love the deep note from THX! I remember having the sound as a startup sound for my Windows XP/7 😎Made feel so cool when my friends came over and i showed them! But yeah, THX for me is the greatest intro to a movie! Though i like the Dreamworks one as well 🙂

The final result is very impressive. But it's also a bit sad, that the transition starting at 3:25 is not quite as dynamic in the final cut.

I am curious as to the origin of the blue box "Broadway". Why the blue box? Is it supposed to resemble something? Is it just for decor? Also, I wonder what they used for the "Grand" trailer. I couldn't tell if it was red liquid or something.

Yep.
Well, as a religious person my self, God's voice could also be found in music. These people aren't saying it like that, and more of the sound is something in itself, Godly, and unique because it has a place in their lives. Film nerds and those who want to work in sound editing make these things their own personal iconic idols because they love it or associate it to things they love. THX is this entity that is both a corporate company and culturally important by being a part of many film productions in the pass 35 years. Humans are weird dude.

THX Behind the Scenes
I'm currently getting into some sound stuff and this would be an utter dream. I'm no where near to working with systems and softwares anything like this (I work on a Windows 11 laptop with basic stuff like audacity and Microsoft Clipchamp so humble beginnings really), but this would be a dream! Personally I think in many ways this is better than what Imax has done, but man I'd love to create these types of intros and just push the boundaries of sound and visuals.
