Ladies and gentlemen, the THX logo, the worst nightmare from your childhood. Why? The THX logo is really known for giving people nightmares with the "loud" Deep Note, especially children, as it appeared on Walt Disney children's DVDs. If you are into the cinema at night (it reopens if COVID-19 is over), when the THX logo was playing, you'll probably get scared, your heart will beat faster, and you'll shake of how scared you are of one of these THX trailers. But for every single THX trailer, I don't find them scary at all! You'll probably don't want to get nightmares with the THX logo and the Deep Note, of course.

But during the chase, they crash into the big silver metal bar and the acorn gets stuck. They try to pull it out, but then they hear the beginning of the Deep Note and look up to the top of the bar which starts to vibrate. Scrat, Scratte and Aidan hold on to each other, and when the Deep Note gets loud, it causes all 3 to get blown a few feet away like a loudspeaker and popping the acorn back out. As Aidan, Scrat and Scratte sit back up, they saw that the big silver metal bar turns out to be the THX logo and the blue border appears along with the words "DIGITALLY MASTERED" on top and underneath and the registered trademark symbol next to the logo. Aidan, totally stunned by the logo, says "Whoa, now that's something you don't see everyday." Then the rock that says "The audience is listening" falls and hits Scrat, but Scratte and Aidan don't notice because they're still looking at the THX logo.
Availability: This was only seen in THX theaters that showed Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. Music/Sounds: Scrat and Scratte chittering and a loud clang, followed by a Deep Note and Aidan's dialogue. FX/SFX: The characters moving, and the THX logo vibrating. This is also animated by Blue Sky Studios.
Editor's Note: Once again a humorous effect from THX, and was also a great way to kickoff screenings of the movie at THX theaters. A loud clang can startle some young children during the chase and also the Deep Note when it blows the characters away, but Aidan's dialogue was so soft and calming.

I find "The Audience is Listening" before the loud note hilarious, like they're trolling the audience...
Because the audience doesn't want to listen to that sound
Happy 39th anniversary THX!
I wonder what logo THX will have on their 40'th anniversary
This comments before Titan TV Man.
The Amazing Life THX logo was present in DVDs and Blu-Rays of "Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith" (my favorite Star Wars film)
Nice!!!! I have a lot of THX Movies with the THX Logo! :)
Cool!
Thanks Bro!
Same here
29:20 probably the loudest one
21:16 that used to scare me when I was little
Me too
14:58 This one scared me more when I was little
3:25 This one scared me when I was little.
I think that was the worst one for me, because I heard the nose was coming and I wanted to hide but I couldn't move...
I fear no man. But that thing… « The THX intro in the movies made in 2012 or more recently. »… It scares me.
Why is this literally the most satisfying sound I have ever heard.
Me: thx! The audience is now deaf.
Thx: TURN IT UP!!!!

The 2019 version is my favorite. Just nothing but an epic vibe letting you know that you're in for something amazing.
This is the LOUDEST sound ever created
I remember Pyrerealm gaming included this logo for a GTA V video, his character goes into the theatre, when the logo comes on, the guy says “Oh no not this logo again!” And the whole theatre shakes and blows up at the end.
Excuse me you forgot the "EA games THX games" version from Need For Speed Underground 1 & 2.
And Madden 06
It doesn't matter
JontyMaster oh, but it does.
@@lukeWiz44 Nope 😊
JontyMaster lol then take down the video or change the title. You said THX logos '83-present. That's a lie, no?
It's on my bucket list to one day hear this glorious noise in a movie theater. My ears are gonna be totally toast!

Thanks for the video of thx Logo history.
Tex Finally Returned!
Indeed it did!
Ho dimenticato come suonava l'intro THX ho avuto tanti ricordi e grazie a questo video sono ritornato alla mia infanzia.
POV: Me: buys a perfectly good Dell Vostro 1500
The PC: your DELL PC is THX certified.
Me: 🗿
I had a Dell XPS that had that!
The THX logo was high pitched on VHS but for DVD it plays at a lower octave. Which I never understood why they changed it.
Same sound system?
THX Is really good and loud at the same time.
I felt like everytime I heard the THX sound they had the speakers at the movie theater to load.
Best movie intro ever. They should bring it back.
It's been bought by a gaming company.
And so, it begins. 1:33
I am glad that I am not scared of this logo.In NFSU and NFSU2,after EA logo THX logo is appeared and I didn't get scared
Need for Speed Underground (and NFS Underground 2) brought me here too
Fun fact, the same THX was also featured in video games.
I always remember from Need for Speed: Underground 2
The one where the little mechanic has to fix the logo is the scariest one in my opinion
Tex STILL gives me nightmares 😞
31:38 Horton: How bout this? If I get real close, can you read me?
Poppy: (screams) Cooper: Horton!

Nice literal minute and a half worth of fucking intros. Love it
Nice sarcasm, not. I've shortened my intros in my other recent stuff.
Happy 40th birthday to thx
Powering up Titan TV Man to kill scientist toilet mech
The overwhelming nature of this sound at reference volume triggers all my fight or flight instincts.
