I have 600 miles on my car and the oil life shows 50%. Oil light is not on but I’m wondering why oil life is so low 50%. Do you think that’s normal and What if I reset maintenance settings?

Does the car sit for long periods of time?

@@str8oil some people have the same problem and they say I need to reset it from settings, what do you think, will this fix the problem or I need to take it to dealer?

      Here are the instructions written:
      1. *If You Don’t Have A Touch Screen*
-turn your car on, use the scroll button on the right side of your steering wheel to find “Maintenance” which will show your oil life, then click and hold the same scroll button, then let go after the reset option pops up, and then click that scroll button again on “all due items” and your oil life will be reset
      2. *If You Do Have A Touchscreen*
-on the touchscreen, find “Vehicle Settings”, then find “Maintenance Information”, then choose “Select Reset Items” and then choose “All Due Items”…that will reset your oil life!
      I hope this helped!
