FOR YOUR INFORMATION THE MOTERBOKE IS LINKS DIVINE BEAST. Just cost friendly and wouldn't like destroy the map.
A point of note: The "Hopping Vampires" is actually a thing in China, Korea, and parts of Japan. While it seems weird to us in western civilization; In Asian cultures demonic spirits can posses the bodies of the recently deceased, converting them into a being known as "Kuijin", which are a sort of "Vampire" to put it loosely. The Kuijin do not feed on "blood" so much as they feed on a persons energy of "Chi", and need certain types of resources from their target based on if they are a Positive Chi "Yin" and Negative Chi "Yang" energy. Vampires that feed on Yin energy feed of things that sustain life such as Blood, Breath, fluids, and most importantly sexual energy. While Negative vampires feed on skin, hair, bones, and can even feed on Metal in some circumstances, or effectively anything dead.
When they initially are created they have very little energy themselves and "Hop" to move the body towards any source until they can consume enough energy of their type to where they are able to gain more movement. The longer a Kuijin is able to feed, and gain more energy, the more ability and mobility they will have until they reach a state where they become more human like and in turn almost unnoticeable within human society. However, when a Kuijin is near, things will decay at a faster rate if they are Yin fueled, and grow uncontrollably if they are Yang fueled. Which is why the weird DLC didn't make a lot of sense. Because they were basing all of it off of actual Taoist, and Shinto perspectives. Which ironically to persons from those societies, would be exactly how that story should have been told.

Yeah, somehow the Sheikah were intelligent enough to invent liquid-based data transfer technology, and you get items in the game that allow you to control gravity or the elements, and the giant robots you're trying to summon are piloted by _spirits,_ but somehow a dirtbike that eats banana peels is too abstract of a concept (in a game with fish people and pig demons and giant fairies). Makes sense.
"For purposes that aren't clear" every champion in botw had their own unique divine beast, considering link was also a champion, then he would've had his own divine beast too. Had hyrule had the time to find it before ganon showed up, then link would've probably ended up with a divine beast just like the others.

Actually his Animagus form is a bat, so it seem like he is a vampire but actually he is a vampire. It's the reason he is so pale, doesn't really go outside, has really good hearing and.. That he is so seductive. The only person that knew was me though, and I might have turned into an inferi.
I just said I was the only one who knew, and I wasn't exactly in a position to tell anyone about his animagus form.
This is why he was irresistible to fanfic writers.

Funny thing is Old World Blues is a Huge part in the DLC CANON, as that is where Elijah got his bomb collars for Dead Money, and where Ulysses met Christine, and there is a while lot of story.

Jumping Vampires are actually real mythology in China.
I feel that Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon doesn't belong here since it's completely stand alone from the main game and was more of a spin-off, like Far Cry Primal. Far Cry 5's Lost on Mars should however be on a future list since it's a sequel to a couple of quests in Far Cry 5.

Gat out of Hell was weird yes but I think Enter the Dominatrix was much weirder. Runnning down the street with a singing dinosaur in the end is pretty weird. Fighting Satan seems relatively normal compared to that.

The Master Cycle Zero makes perfect sense. It was designed to be Link's Divine Beast, better than all others; and it holds true. While other Divine Beasts are cookie cut, being slow, large and tanky, Link's was tailored to him. As seen in memories, Link was a veritable killing machine; no amount of laser mech would improve that. Therefore he received a Divine Beast that would allow him to move much quicker, suiting his abilities and lack of flight, rolling, etc.
@Alexander Valdez even though the game's plot spends literally 80% of it (and 100% of it's backstory) establishing that the Sheikah were magitek masters and technowizards? Having a Star Wars esque plasma sword but not a motorbike makes even LESS sense. Nevermind that the most efficient fuel for it is guardian parts, the fact that it objectively fits in with the game's backstory both in aesthetic and function, nevermind the fact that you spend just as much time in the presence of Sheikah technology as you do "becoming one with nature". Heck you literally have a Sheikah iPad with you the whole game and you are heavily reliant on it for everything from navigation to puzzle solving and heck it's the only non-weapon, non-armor (shields count in this case) and non-bow item you use for pretty much anything that doesn't have to do with healing your injuries. If you're "still not seeing it" it's because you intentionally didn't pay attention to even the most-in-your-face details.

The games main quest spends 14% of its time establishing that the sheikah were the constructors, and 5% of its back story. (Being Generous)
Having a star wars esque plasma sword would make more sense, even without motorbikes. Look at star wars it has laser swords and no motorcycles and it makes sense. Heck, the base game had lasers swords and the motorcycle doesn't make that make more sense.
Guardian parts aren't the most efficient fuel (star fragments and dragon scales are).
The master cycle doesn't fit aesthetically or functionally. Aesthetically all other sheikah constructs are very bulky and are animal like in appearance and locomotion, none of which can describe the master cycle. Functionally it is slower than the other constructs, is not semi-autonomous, and has no weapons, making it objectively the worst (both for transport and for battle).
The sheikah slate is just as bad, but is some what excused and overlooked because it is the ingame reason for the GUI and the WiiU gamepad features that got cut. And even if we don't count weapons, armor, shields, bows, and foods (btw if you are arguing for the utmost importance of an object don't list everything else in the game as exceptions), you still have the blessings, the paraglider, potions, and horses. The only rune that even compares to these are the bombs (if we exclude exploits like flying machine magnesis) and even then bomb arrows are a thing, granted they don't work in all situations (cough BS flame ganon cough). You could remove the sheikah slate runes entirely and the core game play would be the same.

BotW, didn't loose the plot, is an adventure to comolete the memories and get his devine beast (Mater Cycle Zero). Which I must add is the most outdated technology compared to spider autonomous robots and elephant submarines.

Just in case nobody's explained Jiang Shi to the Ox in the Box gang or if they haven't googled it, they're hopping because of rigor mortis. Folks noticed how stiff the dead get for a period of time after they die so they thought that their undead would only be able to move slightly, so they would hop after prey. So instead of Dracula, its Tin Man with no oil can and a big damn thirst.

Saints Row 4 itself could fit in here; it was originally meant to be a DLC for Saints Row 3, called Enter the Dominatrix (get it? enter the matrix?), but eventually spun out into its own full-sized game. In a bit of weird self-contained meta, the original vision for the DLC, complete with voiced storyboards, became a DLC for Saints Row 4.

First thing I did when I unlocked Skull Kid in Hyrule Warriors was blare Majora's Mask music.
Link is included as a champion, this is confirmed, and master cycle zero is supposed to be Link's Divine Beast.
Things that don't jump the shark:
- A literal touch screen tablet with GPS and hi-def camera
- Giant mechanized squids that shoot laser beams
- Giant kaiju mechs
- 120+ Portal test chambers
- A shrine that only appears once it detects Link's nudity during a blood moon

The motorbike in Breath of the Wild isn't some crazy weird out of place thing lol, if you paid attention at any point in the game you'd understand how broken ancient Sheikah technology is, and just how insane the advancements they made were. So a technological saddle that can teleport your horse with molecular phase-shifting magic is no big deal? Ancient armor that somehow interfaces and communicates with ancient weapons to passively boost their damage output, that sounds totally normal and real-world right? A giant glowing stone at the top of a tower (that just shot out of the ground because of ancient magic) codes map routes, geographical and topographical data into drops of glowing liquid, and somehow you have a Sheikah slate that can interface with this liquid based data-transfer technology with no peripheral attachments needed for the transfer (just splash some magic Sheikah water on that bad boy).....
...but making a motorbike that runs on recycled garbage out of that same technology is where you draw the line. Gotcha.

I freaking LOVE Old World Blues. One of my all time favourite DLC's
