it's funny how you mentioned you were really involved in marching band in hs and then decided to get into dancing in college because the same thing happened to me lol. i love dancing now and i think having that music background definitely had something to do with it
tbh the part where you talked about your music really hit me in the feels .. i played the violin in ms and i really miss it (i haven’t played in over 4 years 😭) just reminds me how ive slowly let go of so many of things i love but thats just life ig

This came out of the blue but I’m so glad for it!! I’ve been playing flute since 6th grade but I had to move halfway through my 7th grade year and ngl, my new schools band is pretty bad. I love playing the flute and definitely want to continue into high school but it’s required for you to be in marching band if you want to do regular band but I’m not sure if I want the responsibility of both. Ig I was a little scared of what others would think if I joined marching band but now after seeing that you also did marching band I think I might just go for it! I met one of my bestest friend bc of band and I think high school would be a great opportunity for me to meet more people.
