  • Zelda II: The Adventure Of Link - All Bosses, Part 2 of 2 (DVD/GameCube Capture Version).
This is a rundown of all the boss fights in Zelda II: The Adventure Of Link.
    Part 2.
    Some key notes to remember:
0:09 - 0:19: Actually, this screen was pretty fun to make as well.
    0:20 - 0:30: You're Welcome ;) .
0:36 - 1:54: Remember where that level buildup was supposed to come back and bite me? Here it is. This was actually my 3rd (or 4th) attempt at Thunderbird. Because my Magic skill level is only at 7 (Out of 8), I could only apply Thunder (To make Thunderbird's face appear), and 1 other magic spell. So it was a choice between Shield, Jump, or Reflect; each offers its own unique plus/minus. This coupled with the GameCube controller makes for a pretty nice challenge!
    1:55 - 1:56: Thanks, GameCube controller.
    2:03 - 2:07: Neat.
2:22 - 4:00: Interestingly enough, it doesn't matter what level your Life is at; Ganon only takes 1 block. I also decided to play around here and give you something of a show...
4:01 - 4:17: ... Until I remembered that I was on my last life and I didn't want the low-life beeping noise to interfere with the Triforce acquisition "ta-da" music. So I ran to the corner and took out Ganon's kneecaps!
4:18 - END: Enjoy the end credits.

The most amazing 8 bit soundtrack ever was this game. Most underrated 8 bit Nintendo game as well.

My guess is sometime after Ganon's physical body was destroyed his spirit ordered all the monsters in this game to kill Link so his blood could be used to create a physical body. When all this failed Ganon tried one last desperate attempt to destroy Link and his spirit took on the form of Link to fight him one last time. It would make sense since the whole plot of this game was Ganon's supposed vengeance harassing Link from beyond the grave.

That thought is so creepy, but so cool and fantastic, I love it. It is definitely possible (especially given that Ganon appears in the game over screen). I do not know about all the monsters, but I definitely believe it for the final boss, Link's Shadow. In fact, in an episode of the cartoon show, Ganon does the same for Princess Zelda's mirror reflection. Imagine if the shadow and reflection met, both apparitions of Ganon, to take out Link and Zelda.
I know it would not apply to Super Mario Bros 2 as well, since the plot is quite different (it is more like the Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, eerily), but it would be so cool for me to believe that the deceased apparition of Bowser took over the villains of Subcon to kill Mario.

@metalsonic641 I always had a "romantic" view in that Ganon needs the blood of Link to be revived (As stated in the manual), so maybe the remains (Spirit?) of Ganon somehow found their way inside Link at the end of Zelda 1 & the little magician-looking guy here was somehow able to draw out that evil from within Link (I was like 6 or 7 at the time; go figure the logic :) ) -- But I like your idea of Ganon controlling a puppet of sorts. Kudos to you for that idea, and thanks for commenting! :)

@Duckhugger Correct! The game actually calls the last fight via a guide, Link's Shadow. Not Ganon. It is the first time Dark Link shows up.

@pinkypimpalicous I know. The GameCube controller and Level 7 Magic makes for an interesting challenge.

It's probably a form of Ganon considering the overall plot of the game.

Shadow Link Isn't Any Of Those. In Link To The Past, Some Guy I Forgot The Name Of Says "The Dark World Mimics The Light World". Shadow Link Is The Dark World Link. Link's Copy. But Shadow Link Keeps Escaping The Dark Realm.

and do not forget in the Ocarina of Time, Link encounters Dark Link having to kill him (kill it, I mean) with the megatron hammer

@TheBrionus Yeah, but I wanted to gives the viewers a show. Just kneeling in the left-hand corner and stabbing until dead is kind of boring to watch :-|
