I always thought it was neat and very funny how L&H used set props in their acts, especially when Ollie would flip, fall or crash through something. They may have been the first act to try things like that.
This was NOT "deleted" from BE BIG as it was NEVER in the U.S. version. The filmed material was approaching the length of a four-reeler which was edited down and released as a three-reeler. This was an economic move. This "deleted" material WAS used in the foreign versions, (and therefore, NOT "deleted" footage) which may explain why we hear Ollie exclaiming whats sounds like "Sh*t" as he nearly falls out the window...as it was not used in an English language version, the possible expletive was irrelevant.
The foreign language versions weren't dubbed - they were reshot with Stan and Ollie saying the dialogue (albeit in 'parrot fashion' - saying the words but not necessarily udnerstanding them) - so the footage in the foreign versions isn't this footage.
