Did you think about purchasing the Thanos Pro C3 at all? I'm trying to decide between the SE and that one. It looks like the Pro supports between 5.5 and 19 Lbs. This one is slightly lower at between 4 and 17 lbs. The arm on the Pro C3 looks so much bigger and bulkier though. It's only $50 more, so not really a question of the money. Let me know if you have any input. I'd probably be rigging a 5" monitor somewhere. Any other vest and arm system you like? Thank you for sharing all your knowledge.
Thanos SE is only product from their brand that I have. It's very hard to recommend someone a prodi without knowing what they going to use it for and how they going to use it..
Hi. Thanks for this revue. I just had the Rs3 and the Thanos SE. I’m little confuse how ton put the gimbal in the arm . Witch way ? Seems for me that I have to twist it to 90 degres if I want the gimbal to be straight align with the arm. Just in the middle to get the opportunity to pan right and left easily. But do do on this way , I have to put on a way ( form the the Ronin ) and after twist it to align . Seems not intuitive . Maybe I’m doing in the wrong way . If your can please détails how you put it the Rs3 correctly and fixe in the Arm of the Thanos SE it will be very helpful . Thanks again for your help !
@@camerariggingmods9667 Can I ask how you attached the Tilta Advanced Ring to the Thanos SE arm? I may try it. I don't need to wear it for extended periods of time, so comfort is secondary. I shoot real estate videos. My primary need is to have the ring held up and balanced so I can adjust white balance and exposure for each individual room in a house. An EasyRig or Tilta Float seems a bit dangerous inside a house. Have you used an EasyRig or Float in tight spaces? Are they usable?
Yo Matt! I loved the video. I’m trying to copy your RS3 setup at 5:30. HOWEVER, I got sucked in by the “Thanos Pro II Limited” specs for weight and price. Do you think I can still accomplish the same setup even though Pro II Limited arm comes from the side where as SE is front chest mounted? I would love to hear your thoughts! Thanks.
The Pro 2 will actually probably give you more stable than this will, since you can attach counterweights to the bottom. But you won't have any low-to-high shot capability or tilt capability on the stabilizer rather of the gimbal - it's a much more traditional normal Steadicam-type setup.
Which would you recommend, this or the tilta float dual handle gimbal support? Tilta is more expensive but I’m looking more at ease of use and convenience

I absolutely recommend this rig because it is so tiny and it's so powerful. You literally can wear it all day. Only thing you need to remember it limits your movements to how high and how low you can go with it, also you can only choose One direction with the holding bracket, you can either have it swinging side to side or forward and back like a tilt, it does create a little bit of hip moment but with a little bit of practice you will manage that and maybe some gimbal settings, but is a general support for weddings and any events to be honest where you got to be on the move in a tight places it is absolutely phenomenal.
