There is no Ohio, I thought I lived in Ohio for years. I thought I got my education, slept, and fell in love there. It was all fake, Ohio is and never will be real. I’ve made this post to try to enlighten the people and expose the corrupt fake Ohioan government. LEGO land’s attempts to destroy the government will be in vain due to it not existing. I tried to tell the South Carolinians who are against Toledo that the area doesn’t even exist, they didn’t believe me, probably because they would have no clue what to do with their hatred. The people who believe that they live in Ohio are being brainwashed by the blue green algae from the Lake Erie. Where did the algae come from though? They put it there. I’ve only heard them referred to as a they, please send help I don’t have much time left and want to save what friends I have left.

      Industrial Society and Its Future
      by Theodore John Kaczynski
      Introduction
      1. The Industrial Revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race. They have greatly increased the life-expectancy of those of us who live in “advanced” countries, but they have destabilized society, have made life unfulfilling, have subjected human beings to indignities, have led to widespread psychological suffering (in the Third World to physical suffering as well) and have inflicted severe damage on the natural world. The continued development of technology will worsen the situation. It will certainly subject human beings to greater indignities and inflict greater damage on the natural world, it will probably lead to greater social disruption and psychological suffering, and it may lead to increased physical suffering even in “advanced” countries...

Drew builds stuff did this too (twice actually), and he did a really good job of making it lighter and more functional while going more in depth explaining it. Granted his was heavier, but I believe that both are really cool. He used aluminum for the base, made it wider, and used different waterproof methods, but had to have an external battery for his bike. If you ever do this again I'd recommend taking some inspiration from drew builds stuff. Both of you have really amazing builds that I'd honestly love to also try to make. Might sound weird that I'd want to make my own, but I feel like I'd love it all the more if I made it exactly perfect just for me.

I am building a bike camper currently- so far only the subframe is complete. When complete, it will have more of a traditional "airstream" look.
My day job is in commercial signage, so i have all the free (used) aluminum tubing and sheet i could want at my disposal. Trailer will have solid (not pneumatic) tires and hydraulic brakes. Tow vehicle is a Tern GSD ebike.
Floor material will be a sandwich of fiberglassed polypropylene honeycomb and rigid foam.
Should tow okay (if I stick to my weight budget) as i occasionally pull a Bikes At Work trailer loaded with 300 pounds.

If you want to do this project again, try corrugated plastic. They sell it in 4x8 foot sheets and it's super sturdy and light weight.

Cool idea! Curious if bicycle helmets are required in your jurisdiction. Might be worth noting in the description how important helmets are whenever sharing the road with vehicles.

If you cycle an average of 25 miles per hour, as you say at 4:10 . And you say the camping spot is 51 miles away. How can you have cycled for 6 hours and still not be there? You could cycle that distance in 2 hours. And which electric bicycle has enough power to cycle for 6 hours? I mean, I think it's kind of fake. But who am I to say that.

Way to stick with it but hopefully you learned that doing dry runs with new equipment is a good idea :) Finishing a build and planning a long trip with it untested almost always results in teething issues. Also anything much over 100 lbs is a pain to pull with a bike and you should really consider trailer breaks if your going to try.
I've been considering makeing something like this myself but the general plan is to tow it around for a few miles around home and spend the night in it in my back yard once before just hitting the open road. I was thinking coroplast instead of foam
