Cape parrots, are THE BEST parrots!
As pets, they offer a captivating blend of intelligence and personality. Known for their striking green plumage and distinctive coral forehead in females, these parrots exhibit a strong bond with their owners when provided with proper care and attention.
They are highly intelligent, capable of learning tricks and mimicking speech. They are personable and love to be around their human care-givers. You'll do best with two to avoid bordom or loniness, which can cause a Cape to use their shrill call, which you otherwise may not hear.
Cape parrots thrive on a varied diet of beta-carotie fruits, vegetables, and nuts, in addition to pellets, and their large beaks necessitate suitable toys for chewing.
Their longevity, potential for forming deep bonds, and engaging behaviors make them rewarding companions for committed and experienced bird enthusiasts.

Yes, Capes are very expensive here too!
An African Grey - I would get another or another Poicephalus. They tend to appreciate a bird with their same calm temperament. LMK what you get!
