even as a non vtuber this information is gold or any rare metal that is worth millions by the ounce because i have been struggling to figure out a way to make my streams entertaining due to 0 viewers (any streamer's nightmare) and i haven't streamed due to me not knowing what would be my style so i have been watching gremlins like Fillian or big streamers like Trickywi or such and just seeing what they do and what i could pull from their style that could make me comfortable in being in front of the camera but yeah not easy that and well lets just say that people have milked the FFXIV scene extensively but seeing what you just posted makes me think that as a D&D dungeon master and a freak who likes to make funny voices and noises left and right that maybe i'm more of the role player type and well it got me into thinking of what i sould do but i tend to crack jokes left right and center even if sometimes they are mad timing kind of jokes so thats an other point you got me thinking of how to fix so massive thanks and a subscribe from me
You know what I found out, you know when you watch your friend play you’re so into it? That energy has to be captured. … that sense your friend is having fun, you have fun… when they get really frustrated, for some reason, we want to see them more fustrated😂.. I don’t even really think you have to talk much, but it’s reactions to things that are most important, which is why horror lets plays are so popular. Just 2 cents.
I got this recommended to me and thought it was really good, and i didnt even notice how little views it has! this content is truly amazing and i hope you get more subscribers, because you deserve it!
Thank you for this video, I really needed some pointers to start figuring out what to do commentary wise, now I just need to formulate a strategy and put effort into practicing.
Honestly amazing video! Also i think you shouldn't look at your viewer count too much as you stream and talk as if you have a hundred viewers so when people pop in you are already engaging and giving them content as opposed to only really trying to say stuff once it bumps off 0 (not that anyone askedXD)
Woah this is some 100k channel content. Entertaining an audience will always be the hardest part of the job, given the fact that this is a saturated market to begin with. Hoping to grow on twitch isn't going to help you because twitch algorithm will catar towards the top dogs of the platform. I'd say start creating short form content to grow your audience because it will help you given that YT is pushing this short form of content. One of your clips will pop off to a new audience exploring what you have to offer, but remember don't think you are done simply because one of your clips pop off. The bigger question is how will you maintain your new audience while continuing to grow? Luck will definitely be one of the biggest factor into growing as a content creator. Wishing the best to everyone who wants to be a content creator.
I had quite a few funny moments while playing re4, a couple of them I even clipped myself for ease of watch and to share with my mates. I'd love to do more of that because I find it funny enough myself, but sadly it's hard to find games with RE4's pace. Oh well.
TRUE. A big problem I have with a lot of the big niji game collabs is how everyone kinda narrates their own actions in one big discord call. That’s why I just prefer zatsus nowadays
I see people blaming the algorithm, discrimination, bad luck etc. for why they have no viewers. While these factors do influence your success, successful creators have done experiments where they start a new account secretly from scratch and guess what? Turns out if you’re a good entertainer you will get viewers. Is it so hard to accept that you might just be boring for people to watch?
Bro those first two clips brutal I liked those two because of their clips but actually dropping by on a stream was pretty borin but Sonny's good at the voice acting so he should lean into those sorta games haha So true bro I be speaking to myself even at 0 viewers but since I don't got my own room my siblings give me a look like "girl you crazy" im like "yeah every streamer is crazy if they dont have a chat xD" some people are better (and have more fun) at making videos over streaming! im surprised you put footage of soviet womble considering a lot of his stuff aint really a streaming category. kinda like litomatoma or whoschaos. everybody got their own strength and the original vtubers like kizuna ai didnt really do it through livestreaming but scripted videos! do what works for ya if you're better at making visual humour through editing or whatnot
Only important when you are smol - streamers like XQC and Asmongold can literally blabber random dumb mind-numbing sh@t and will still be watched by millions.
great video, if anyone wants more examples of what makes a commentary engaging just take a look at Jerma985 streams, he does a variation of almost every one of these styles

You are really right. I'm thinking of planning with games a bit more!!
Thank you for making this video. It is an amazing topic that more people need to consider while they stream.
This video is great. It also single handedly proved to me that I'm doing something right! ^^
Amazingly concise but jam-packed video! Loved the usage of very recent examples!!
loved the video! this is a good one to keep in the back of the head.

Great video!! The clips especially funny!! Also congrats on 1k!! ❤🎉

I love RPGs, so Imma definitely lean in that direction when I get started 😊

Fact, they say, according to a RUclips video😂, people who talk to themselves are smart :). Even if you look crazy haha
woah
if you need a way to stand out dont stream on twitch
everyone's game commentary sucks though.... I will never understand how anyone enjoys livestreams.

or alternatively don't try at all and focus on playing games rather than making money by playing games.
