    I am doing your pattern and your video is very good. I changed to a slip stitch when working the ladders- I started with the sc but thought it was to -stand-up-ish on the band and then redid it with the slip stitch and liked it better. Thankyou!

    I would love to request if you would make more of the vintage hats. They're beautiful, I made your cloche hat, it was challenging and I think I needed more chain cause it was a bit tight but it fits my daughter in law. She loves it. I love your work. Thank you for answering my last comment. You're the bomb... as my grandson says. Have a God blessed day. SandyB

    I love this headband! As my tension is tighter than it should be, what is the guage for this? I know my rows tend to be shorter due to my tension, I always go up on my hook sizes depending on the guage.

    Do leg warmers, boot top, short or long on the addi machine, please. I do all by hands but too much time. I have to be careful with my hands because I have carpal tunnel, tendernitis, so the machine is my friend.

    One question, you attach the buttons to the headband can you can you adjust the headband so so the headband can be tighter for whatever hairstyle I'm using it for

    • @LittlejohnsYarn
      @LittlejohnsYarn  6 лет назад

      The buttons make it adjustable. I just stick the butons thru the crochet stitches

    Has anyone a picture of how the braided headband looks at the back. Video did not show it, it just mentioned buttons

    • @irmar
      @irmar 3 года назад

      It did show it but it was black buttons on black work, so it was not easy to see them. But you just put two buttons on one side and then use whichever hole you like to close the headband, depending on the size of your head.

  • @conniestone6251
    @conniestone6251 6 лет назад +1

    You stated that you would use 2 buttons to connect the band... to be shown (somewhere next??) I cannot find that Is there a post which shows what it's supposed to look like? Also, do you know how to decrease / increase overall size to fit different heads?

    • @conniestone6251
      @conniestone6251 6 лет назад

      I've already looked on the blog post above, but didn't see an answer.

    • @LittlejohnsYarn
      @LittlejohnsYarn  6 лет назад +1

      At minute 14:35 I show you where the buttons are attached. Unfortunately I didn't realize how dark the picture is, lol. The button are crochet black buttons. I used the same yarn as the back of the headband. To deacrease size reduce strap size. If you are making it for a child, chain the exact headsize for each 4 panels. then for the straps just make rows to fits size.

    You should learn how to Crochet when the yarn is underneath your work. I usually do chain stitches like this and it gives a much more finished look. Cute idea though.
